It is submitted that an application for Consent to Establish (Extension) has been received from Chandigarh Heart & Multispeciality Hospital. During scrutiny of the application, it has been observed that the project proponent has applied for CTE (Extension); however, in the application form, the date of commissioning has been mentioned as June 2025.
In view of the above, it requires clarification from the project proponent as to whether the hospital has already been commissioned/operational. In case the unit is already in operation, the project proponent is required to apply for Consent to Operate (CTO) under the provisions of the Water (Prevention and Control of Pollution) Act, 1974 and the Air (Prevention and Control of Pollution) Act, 1981, along with submission of requisite documents and prescribed fee, instead of CTE (Extension).
Therefore, it is requested to address the above said observations within 2 days.
