The existing unit of the industry is located at main tajpur road, ludhiana. As per GNE 2022 report, the total effluent generation from the existing machinery of the industry i.e. 22 Cabinet machines is 672 KLD. However, the industry has granted tentative shares of CETP 50 MLD @ 520 KLD. The industry has proposed to shift this unit/ machinery at new proposed location for which present CTE has been applied. The industry in addition to above machinery has also proposed to install 05 soft flow machines, which will also contribute in effluent quantity. But, the industry has applied present CTE for the generation of trade effluent @ 520 KLD, which is even less than the effluent generation from the present machinery. The industry is required to explain, how effluent generation will be less than the discharge calculate by the GNE on its existing machinery. Further, the industry is required to submit the feasibility report of its proposed APCD. You are requested to submit reply within 02 days positively. |
