The application of the industry scrutinized and observed that earlier the industry was granted CTO under Water (Prevention & Control of Pollution) Act, 1974 for discharge of trade effluent @ 601.5 KLD & Domestic @ 4.5 KLD into Conveyance system of CETP 50 MLD. Now, the industry has applied for varied consent to operate under Water (Prevention & Control of Pollution) Act, 1974 for discharge of trade effluent @ 1378 KLD & domestic effluent @ 4.5 KLD into conveyance system of CETP 50 MLD. Therefore, you are requested to submit the detail of water consumption / effluent discharge based on capacity of machinery, liquor ratio, number of lots, number of working hours, number of baths, boiler blowdown, waste generated from DM plant / softener / RO plant, cooling water surplus, condensate recovery / waste, re-dyeing and any other effluent generation, within 02 days, positively. |
