On scrutinizing the application and linking with record file of the industry it was observed as under:-
1. The industry is required to submit revised Map approved by the Competent Architect approved by Deputy Director of Factories, Chandigarh.
2. The industry is required to submit compliance of the directions u/s 33- A of Water (Prevention & Control of Pollution) Act, 1974 issued by the Board to the industry vide letter no. 3854-58 dated 02.12.2022 (copy attached).
3. The industry was visited by this office on 16.01.2023 and emission samples were collected from the stack of both boilers of capacity 120 TPH and 50 TPH. Now analysis results of the samples have been received from the Zonal Lab, Jalandhar and as per analysis report concentration of particulate matter in the Boiler of capacity 120 TPH and 50 TPH is 170 mg/nm3 and 136 mg/nm3 respectively against the permissible limit of 150 mg/nm3. As such particulate matter content in the boiler of capacity 120 TPH is beyond the permissible limit for such unit. Further the industry has no taken adequate measures for storage, handling and disposal of fuel ash generated from the boilers.
Clarify within 02 days for further processing of application.
