The application of the project proponent has been scrutinized and it was observed as under:
1. The project proponent has not mentioned water consumption detail, water generation detail & disposal details in the application form.
2. The project proponent has not mentioned source of air pollution in the application form.
3. The project proponent in the application form has mentioned that imported Zinc dross will be used, however, in the brief project report it has mentioned that The Raw Material comprises of spent / used / scraps of metal containing spent Zinc catalyst, Zinc dross & other material to produce metal and related products, which are indigenously available in the local market, please clarify, whether raw material zinc dross will be imported or not.
4. The project proponent has not mentioned APCD to be provided with Zinc Ash Pulveriser, fuel to be used in Zinc melting furnace and mode of disposal of by-product zinc ash to be generated.
You are therefore requested to submit reply of the above said observation within 2 days.
