The application submitted by the industry has been scrutinized, and the following deficiencies have been observed:
1. The project proponent has applied for Consent to Operate (CTO) under category 2091 – Area/Infrastructure Development Project including Educational Institutions, Community Hall, IT Park, Theme Park (Not covered under EIA Notification, 2006), which is not in accordance with the latest categorization guidelines of the Board. The project proponent is required to submit the CTO application as per the latest applicable categorization.
2. The project proponent is required to upload a proper, complete, and clearly legible scanned copy of the approved layout plan, as the document uploaded is not appropriate.
3. The project proponent is required to submit the commissioning/completion certificate of the STP mentioning the capacity and technology along with its dimensional drawing.
4. The project proponent is required to submit receipts of solid waste management picked by MC, Jalandhar.
The project proponent is hereby directed to submit the above-mentioned information/documents within a period of 2 days, failing which further action shall be initiated as per the provisions of the relevant Acts. |
