On scrutinizing the application, it was observed that the project proponent has applied under VDS scheme. However, as per office memorandum no. 394 dated 21.11.2022, the scheme will be valid for only those small scale industries or institutes/other establishments (having capital investment less than 10 crores), operating in designated permissible areas.
However in this subject cited case , the investment has been shown as 19.42 crores, as such the subject cited industry cannot be taken under VDS scheme.
The project proponent shall submit following for further processing of application:
1. It is required to submit land use classification as well as site suitability report of DTP and approved building plan of the project from concerned Govt. Authority.
2. It is required to submit proof of its date of commissioning , so as to ascertain consent fee and penalty applicable.
3. It is required to deposit adequate consent to operate fee under the Water Act, 1974 and the Air Act, 1981.
Clarify within 02 days.
