Show cause notice for refusal of renewal of consent to operate under the Water (Prevention & Control of Pollution) Act, 1974 has been issued to the industry vide no. 646 dated 24/05/2024 to file written reply before the Chief Environmental Engineer(B) of the Board within 10 days from the date of issuance of notice. A copy of the same is attached herewith for information & necessary action. Failing which, it shall be presumed that the industry has nothing to say and Board shall go ahead to take proposed action in the matter without giving any further notice/ opportunity.
