Dear Sir,
This letter is in reference to Show Cause Notice No. 1224 dated May 6, 2024.
We would like to clarify the following regarding the Effluent Treatment Plant (ETP) operations at our establishment:
• Our ETP operates in automatic mode. The ETP automatically starts functioning when the effluent reaches a certain level in the collection tank.
• During the officer's visit, the collection tank may have been empty, which is why the ETP was not operating at that time.
We confirm that the ETP has a capacity of 5 KLD. Our restaurant staff comprises 4-5 personnel, and we receive approximately 40-50 customers daily.
Regarding the DG set, we have a 156 KVA DG set equipped with a canopy. However, the initial stack height was inadequate. After the visit of officer we have extended the DG set stack to comply with Punjab Pollution Control Board (PPCB) norms.
