It is respectfully stated that we have one glue manufacturing kettle and the same is operated on the alternate day. After the end of operational day of kettle, only 10-15 litre fresh water is used for washing of kettle and this washing water is reused in the next batch of manufacturing glue. In case, any wastewater is generated after 2-3 months and the same is evaporated. In this regard, we have already submitted undertaking. This wastewater is not wasted as it contains phenol which is costly item. Further, we have installed 2 submersible pumps to feed fresh water to boilers. Presently, only old boiler is in operation and newly installed boiler is yet to be commissioned. Only 20-25 workers are working in the industry and consuming about 1,000 lt./day. The wastewater generated is treated in the septic tank before discharge onto land for plantation & horticulture. Kindly grant us the consent. |
