On scrutiny of the application, the following deficiencies have been observed:
1. As per the allotment letter, the particulars of Plot No. 1 and Plot No. 40 are not clearly defined. The industry is requested to submit complete and clear details regarding the said plots.
2. The industry has not submitted a copy of the building plan duly prepared and authenticated by the Director of Factories / Chartered Architect / Chartered Engineer, as authorized under Section 3-A of the Punjab Factory Rules, 1952.
3. The industry has indicated the date of commencement of production as June, 1992 in the application form but the requisite consent fee from the said date is inadequate.
4. The Resolution of the Board of Directors / Partners authorizing the signatory to submit and sign the application on behalf of the unit has not been furnished.
5. Details of the Diesel Generator sets have not been provided in the application for Consent to Operate under the Air (Prevention and Control of Pollution) Act, 1981.
6. The unit has not submitted details regarding disposal of 2 KLD of domestic wastewater after septic tank in the application for Consent to Operate under the Water (Prevention and Control of Pollution) Act, 1974.
7. The industry is also required to intimate whether any hazardous waste is generated from the process within the industrial premises, along with its quantity, category, and mode of disposal, if applicable.
