The industry was granted consents to operate under the Water Act, 1974 & Air Act, 1981 vide nos CTOW/Varied/MKS/2020/13577588 & CTOA/Varied/MKS/2020/13577375 both dt. 07.09.2020 valid upto 30.09.2021 for operation of rice sheller unit of capacity 14 TPD of raw rice / sorted rice with dryer subject to the conditions mentioned therein.
Now, the industry has given representation / request stating that while applying previous case the industry erroneously attached only 1 sample report alongwith the case, so the consent was granted for 1 year only i.e. upto 30.09.2021. The consent fee already deposited by industry is adequate upto 30.09.2025. The industry has now attach both the analysis report of the stack emission of dryer as well as shelling section with details as under;
The industry has submitted analysis report carried out by boards approved lab namely Idma Laboratories Limited and Industrial Testing Laboratory & Consulting House on 02.01.2020 & 19.03.2020 respectively. As per the analysis report the concentration of SPM of the APCD attached with the shelling & dryer section are 81.7 mg/Nm3 & 408 mg/Nm3 respectively, which are within the prescribed limits.
As verified during last visit dt. 01.09.2020, the industry is complying with the conditions of earlier consents granted to it under the provisions of the Water Act, 1974 & Air Act, 1981 as well as code of practice prescribed by the Govt. vide order dt. 15.10.2013.
Therefore, it is recommended that consent to operate under the provisions of the Water Act, 1974 and Air Act, 1981 may be further extended upto 30.09.2025, superseding the earlier consent valid upto 30.09.2021, for the production of raw rice/ sorted rice @ 14 TPD with dryer, alongwith the usual conditions and and following specific conditions: -
1. The industry shall comply with the air emissions discharge standards prescribed by the MoEF vide notification no.G.S.R.152 (E) dt. 16th March, 2012.
2. This consent to operate shall be in supersession of earlier consents granted vide nos. CTOW/Varied/MKS/2020/13577588 & CTOA/Varied/MKS/2020/13577375 both dt. 07.09.2020, which were valid upto 30.09.2021, thus which stands cancelled/revoked/ superceded. |
