Clarification was raised to the industry as under:-
1. The industry is in the process for making expansion by adding tyre manufacturing plant, thus the industry requires to apply for CTE/NOC expansion as per the policy dated 30.04.2013.
2. The industry is required to submit area classification report from the Department of Town & Country Planning/ Competent Authority regarding site suitability of the industry for such type of expansion.
The industry was requested to submit the reply of the above said observations within 3 days along with application for CTE/ NOC expansion. However, the industry has failed to submit any reply in this regard and also failed to apply for Consent to Establish/ NOC expansion till date.
As such, it is recommended that the application of the industry for varied ‘Consent to Operate’ under the Water Act, 1974 may be refused.
