The project proponent was earlier granted consent to establish (NOC) under the Water (Prevention & Control of Pollution) Act, 1974 and Air (Prevention & Control of Pollution) Act, 1981 vide no. CTE/Fresh/SAS/2017/5824956 dated 16.10.2017 which was valid upto 15.10.2018. Thereafter, the project proponent was further granted extension in validity of consent to establish (NOC) which was valid upto 15.10.2020.
Now, the project proponent has applied for obtaining extension in validity of ‘consent to establish' (NOC) under the Water (Prevention & Control of Pollution) Act, 1974 and Air (Prevention & Control of Pollution) Act, 1981 for development of Flats @ 84 no. & Booths @ 3 no. by M/s City Floors by Amarjit Singh Chatha Contractor & Builder, Village Bairampur, Derabassi, SAS Nagar alongwith requisite documents.
The project proponent has applied for partial consent to operate under the Water (Prevention & Control of Pollution) Act, 1974 and Air (Prevention & Control of Pollution) Act, 1981 which is being processed separately on merits.
The project proponent has deposited fee of Rs. 21600/- vide UTR. No. BKIDN20283323338 as NOC Regularization Fees and Rs. 4100/- vide UTR. No. BKIDN20283323958 dated 09.10.2020. The fee deposited by the promoter company is adequate for 15.10.2022.
And, as per circular no. CEE, As (HQ)/F.No./957/2016/59 dated 02/02/2016, the case for renewal of NOC/Consent to operate for Orange & Green category industries is to be processed based on self-certification submitted by the industry to the effect that it is complying with the provisions of the Water (Prevention & Control of Pollution) Act, 1974 & the Air (Prevention & Control of Pollution) Act, 1981, as such, this project covers under orange category.
In view of the facts mentioned above, it is recommended that the promoter company may be granted extension in the validity of consent to establish (NOC) from pollution angle under the Water (Prevention & Control of Pollution) Act, 1974 and Air (Prevention & Control of Pollution) Act, 1981 for one year subject to suitable conditions. |
