Earlier </span><span style="background-color: #ffffff; text-align: justify;">directions u/s 33-A of Water Act, 1974 were issued for disconnection of the industry for non-operation of ETP and non-achievement of effluent standards prescribed for such units. The </span><span style="text-align: justify; background-color: #ffffff;">r</span><span style="background-color: #ffffff; text-align: justify;">estaurant was lastly granted consents valid upto 30.06.2022 and the electric connection was restored temporarily upto this period.</span></span></p>
<p style="text-align: justify;"><span style="font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt; color: #000000;"><span style="background-color: #ffffff; text-align: justify;"> </span><span style="background-color: #ffffff; text-align: justify;">Now, the restaurant has applied for renewal of consents and </span><span style="background-color: #ffffff; text-align: justify;">restaurant was visited on 01.07.2022 and f</span><span style="background-color: #ffffff; text-align: justify; text-indent: -18.05pt;">ood joint namely KFC was in operation.</span><span style="background-color: #ffffff; text-align: justify; text-indent: -18.05pt;"> The</span><span style="line-height: 23.68px;"><span style="font-variant-numeric: normal; font-variant-east-asian: normal; font-stretch: normal; line-height: normal;"> </span></span><span style="line-height: 23.68px;">STP installed for treatment of wastewater was in operation during the visit. </span><span style="line-height: 23.68px;">The</span><span style="line-height: 23.68px;"> effluent samples from outlet of STP were collected on 09.05.2022 & 01.07.2022 and have been found complying both times.</span></span></p>
