<p style="text-align: justify;">It is submitted that t<span style="background-color: #ffffff; color: #5d5d5d; font-family: Tahoma, 'sans-serif'; font-size: 14.6667px; text-align: justify;">he industry was granted consent to operate under the Water Act 1974 vide no. CTOW/Varied/PTA/2019/10465557 dated 22/07/2019 and under the Air Act, 1981 vide no. CTOA/Varied/PTA/2019/10466157 dated 22/07/2019, both are valid upto 30.06.2024 for manufacturing of Hand made Paper and Card mill Board @ 5 TPD by using Old waste paper, gunny bags cutting @ 3.3 TPD and Paper Pulp @ 25 TPD as raw material subject to conditions mentioned therein. </span></p>
<p style="text-align: justify;"><span style="background-color: #ffffff; color: #5d5d5d; font-family: Tahoma, 'sans-serif'; font-size: 14.6667px; text-align: justify;"> T</span>he industry was also granted <span style="color: #5d5d5d; font-family: Tahoma, 'sans-serif'; font-size: 14.6667px; text-align: justify; background-color: #ffffff;">Consent to Established (NOC) for expansion from pollution angle under the Water Act, 1974 and the Air Act, 1981 vide no. CTE/Exp/PTA/2021/16573297 dated 08/09/2021, valid upto 10/08/2022 for manufacturing of Paper Board/Card Board @ 8 MT/Day by using Paper Pulp (with 60% Moisture) @ 15 MT/Day, Old Waste Paper, Jute/Gunny Bags, Wheat/Paddy Straw etc.(with 10% Humidity/Moisture) @ 2.4 MT/Day as raw material subject to conditions mentioned therein. However, the RO in its Agenda Note has submitted compliance of the SOPs made for utilizing primary sludge from the paper manufacturing unit. Therefore, RO has to clarify that whether the industry has obtained permission/NOC for utilizing primary sludge or the industry has deposited NOC regularization fee in this matter.The compliance of SOPs is not proper Environmental Engineer, Patiala must review it at his level before submitting the same again. In view of above, may if approved, Regional OFficer Patiala be requested to clarify the above said observation please. </span></p> |
