R16MKSCTOW4333511 & R16MKSCTOA4333463 dated 19.08.2016 for production of raw rice/sorted rice @ 2 TPH without dryer, both are valid upto 30.06.2021.</span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal" style="text-align: justify;"><span lang="EN-IN" style="font-family: 'Tahoma','sans-serif';"> </span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal" style="text-align: justify;"><span lang="EN-IN" style="font-family: 'Tahoma','sans-serif';">The industry has applied for varied of consents to operate under the Water Act, 1974 and Air Act, 1981 for capacity @ 2 TPH of raw rice/sorted with dryer under the Orange category as per the prevailing policy. The detail of the case is as under:-</span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal" style="text-align: justify;"><span lang="EN-IN" style="font-family: 'Tahoma','sans-serif';"> </span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal" style="text-align: justify;"><span lang="EN-IN" style="font-family: 'Tahoma','sans-serif';">The industry has submitted CA certificate dated 04.08.2022 of Rs. 86.31 Lacs as on 31.07.2022. The industry has deposited consent fee of </span><span lang="EN-IN" style="font-family: 'Tahoma','sans-serif'; mso-fareast-font-family: Arial;">Rs. 35,000/- (28000+7000) vide R. No. 52813485 dt. 04.08.2022 and R. No. 21064352 dt. 09.10.2021</span><span lang="EN-IN" style="font-family: 'Tahoma','sans-serif';"> under Water Act, 1974 and </span><span lang="EN-IN" style="font-family: 'Tahoma','sans-serif'; mso-fareast-font-family: Arial;">Rs. 35,000/- (28000+7000) vide R. No. 494161531 dt. 04.08.2022 and R. No. 519431958 dt. 09.10.2021. </span><span lang="EN-IN" style="font-family: 'Tahoma','sans-serif';">The fee deposited by the industry under both the acts is adequate upto 30.09.2027. </span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal" style="text-align: justify;"><span lang="EN-IN" style="font-family: 'Tahoma','sans-serif';"> </span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal" style="text-align: justify;"><span lang="EN-IN" style="font-family: 'Tahoma','sans-serif';">Further the industry has deposited NOC regularization fee of Rs. </span><span lang="EN-IN" style="font-family: 'Tahoma','sans-serif'; mso-fareast-font-family: Arial;">700/- vide R. No. 494161531 dt. 04.08.2022 <span style="mso-spacerun: yes;"> </span>for increased fixed assets.</span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal" style="text-align: justify;"><span lang="EN-IN" style="font-family: 'Tahoma','sans-serif';">The industry has submitted certificate from Executive Officer, MC, Malout, which is reproduced as under:-</span></p>

<p class="MsoNormal" style="text-align: justify;"><span style="font-family: 'Tahoma','sans-serif'; mso-fareast-font-family: Arial; mso-ansi-language: EN-US;">The industry has submitted completion certificate for cyclone installed as APCD.</span></p>

<p class="MsoNormal" style="margin-bottom: .0001pt; text-align: justify; line-height: normal;"><em style="mso-bidi-font-style: normal;"><span lang="EN-IN" style="font-family: 'Tahoma','sans-serif'; color: black; mso-themecolor: text1;"> </span></em></p>
<p class="MsoNormal" style="margin-bottom: .0001pt; text-align: justify; line-height: normal;"><span lang="EN-IN" style="font-family: 'Tahoma','sans-serif'; color: black; mso-themecolor: text1; mso-bidi-font-style: italic;">The industry has installed cyclones as APCDs with pre-cleaner section and shelling section, separately and the same were found in operationable condition. </span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal" style="margin-bottom: .0001pt; text-align: justify; line-height: normal;"><span lang="EN-IN" style="font-family: 'Tahoma','sans-serif'; color: black; mso-themecolor: text1; mso-bidi-font-style: italic;"> </span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal" style="margin-bottom: .0001pt; text-align: justify; line-height: normal;"><span lang="EN-IN" style="font-family: 'Tahoma','sans-serif'; color: black; mso-themecolor: text1; mso-bidi-font-style: italic;">The industry has provided stacks of adequate height with paddy cleaner and shelling section with adequate sample collection facilities.</span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal" style="margin-bottom: .0001pt; text-align: justify; line-height: normal;"><span lang="EN-IN" style="font-family: 'Tahoma','sans-serif'; color: black; mso-themecolor: text1; mso-bidi-font-style: italic;"> </span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal" style="margin-bottom: .0001pt; text-align: justify; line-height: normal;"><span lang="EN-IN" style="font-family: 'Tahoma','sans-serif'; color: black; mso-themecolor: text1; mso-bidi-font-style: italic;">The industry has provided wall of adequate length with height of 10 feet around husk storage area and 5 feet Jali have been provided over the said wall. </span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal" style="margin-bottom: .0001pt; text-align: justify; line-height: normal;"><span lang="EN-IN" style="font-family: 'Tahoma','sans-serif'; color: black; mso-themecolor: text1; mso-bidi-font-style: italic;"> </span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal" style="margin-bottom: .0001pt; text-align: justify; line-height: normal;"><span lang="EN-IN" style="font-family: 'Tahoma','sans-serif'; color: black; mso-themecolor: text1; mso-bidi-font-style: italic;">The industry has provided paved road for the control of the vehicular dust pollution.</span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal" style="margin-bottom: .0001pt; text-align: justify; line-height: normal;"><span lang="EN-IN" style="font-family: 'Tahoma','sans-serif'; color: black; mso-themecolor: text1; mso-bidi-font-style: italic;"> </span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal" style="margin-bottom: .0001pt; text-align: justify; line-height: normal;"><span lang="EN-IN" style="font-family: 'Tahoma','sans-serif'; color: black; mso-themecolor: text1; mso-bidi-font-style: italic;">The industry has</span><span lang="EN-IN" style="font-size: 10.5pt; font-family: 'Tahoma','sans-serif'; color: black; mso-themecolor: text1; mso-bidi-font-style: italic;"> provided the septic tank for treatment of domestic effluent of office building with provision of discharge of effluent onto land for plantation. </span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal" style="margin-bottom: .0001pt; text-align: justify; line-height: normal;"><span lang="EN-IN" style="font-family: 'Tahoma','sans-serif'; color: black; mso-themecolor: text1; mso-bidi-font-style: italic;"> </span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal" style="margin-bottom: .0001pt; text-align: justify; line-height: normal;"><span lang="EN-IN" style="font-family: 'Tahoma','sans-serif'; color: black; mso-themecolor: text1; mso-bidi-font-style: italic;">The industry has provided adequate plantation along the boundary wall of the industry.</span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal" style="margin-bottom: 4.0pt; text-align: justify; line-height: 115%;"><span lang="EN-IN" style="font-family: 'Tahoma','sans-serif'; color: black; mso-themecolor: text1; mso-bidi-font-style: italic;"> </span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal" style="margin-bottom: 4.0pt; text-align: justify; line-height: 115%;"><span lang="EN-IN" style="font-family: 'Tahoma','sans-serif'; color: black; mso-themecolor: text1; mso-bidi-font-style: italic;">The site of the industry is suitable for expansion as it located outside the Municipal Limits of</span><span lang="EN-IN" style="font-family: 'Tahoma','sans-serif'; color: black; mso-themecolor: text1;"> Malout. From the above it is clear that the industry is complying with the <a name="_Hlk81830170"></a>provisions of the Water Act, 1974 & Air Act, 1981 as well as code of practice prescribed by the Govt. vide order dt.15.10.2013.</span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal" style="text-align: justify;"><span lang="EN-IN" style="font-family: 'Tahoma','sans-serif'; color: black; mso-themecolor: text1; mso-bidi-font-weight: bold;"> </span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal" style="text-align: justify;"><span lang="EN-IN" style="font-family: 'Tahoma','sans-serif'; color: black; mso-themecolor: text1; mso-bidi-font-weight: bold;">Keeping in view of above, it is recommended that varied consents to operate under the provisions of Water Act, 1974 and Air Act, 1981 may be granted to the industry for the enhanced production capacity of Raw Rice/Sorted Rice @ 2 TPH with dryer for a period upto 30.09.2027,</span><span lang="EN-IN" style="font-family: 'Tahoma','sans-serif';"> subject to suitable conditions and special condition that the industry will get its emission sample analysed from all stacks within one month after commissioning in coming paddy season from Board’s lab</span></p> |
