<p class="MsoNormal" style="text-align: justify; text-indent: .5in; line-height: 115%;"><span style="font-size: 14.0pt; line-height: 115%; font-family: 'Bookman Old Style',serif;">It is submitted that the industry is a medium scale red category unit and has been granted Consent to operate under the Air (Prevention & Control of Pollution) Act ,1981 is valid upto 31.03.2021. Now, the industry has applied for renewal of consent to operate under the Air (Prevention & Control of Pollution) Act, 1981 through OCMMS. The industry has deposited Consent fees of Rs. 210000/- vide UTR. no. UBINR22022071301622577 dated 13.07.2022 under the Air (Prevention & Control of Pollution) Act, 1981, which is adequate upto 31.03.2024<span style="color: red;"> </span>(after deducting late penalty fees).</span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal" style="text-align: justify; text-indent: .5in; line-height: 115%;"><span style="font-size: 14.0pt; line-height: 115%; font-family: 'Bookman Old Style',serif;">To verify the facts, the industry was visited by the undersigned on 27.07.2022 and it was observed as under:-</span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal" style="text-align: justify; line-height: 115%;"><span style="font-size: 14.0pt; line-height: 115%; font-family: 'Bookman Old Style',serif;">1. The industry was in operation during the visit. </span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal" style="margin-left: .25in; text-align: justify; text-indent: -.25in; line-height: 115%;"><span style="font-size: 14.0pt; line-height: 115%; font-family: 'Bookman Old Style',serif;">2. The industry is having 05 paint booths equipped with individual water curtains as APCDs, 01 no. Powder coating booths with Individual in-built dust collectors as APCDs and 05 no. LPG fired paint ovens equipped with stacks of adequate heights. </span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal" style="margin-left: .25in; text-align: justify; text-indent: -.25in; line-height: 115%;"><span style="font-size: 14.0pt; line-height: 115%; font-family: 'Bookman Old Style',serif;">3. No significant emissions were observed from any of the sections as the industry is using LPG as fuel in the hot water generators and the paint ovens. </span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal" style="margin-left: .25in; text-align: justify; text-indent: -.25in; line-height: 115%;"><span style="font-size: 14.0pt; line-height: 115%; font-family: 'Bookman Old Style',serif;">4. The industry is having two DG sets of capacities 500 KVA (1) & 40 KVA (1). The DG sets are provided with canopy and adequate stack heights. </span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal" style="text-align: justify; text-indent: .5in; line-height: 115%;"><span style="font-size: 14.0pt; line-height: 115%; font-family: 'Bookman Old Style',serif;">In view of the above, it is recommended that renewal of consent to operate under Air (Prevention & Control of Pollution) Act, 1981 may be granted to the industry upto 31.3.2024 with suitable conditions as per the policy of the Board.</span></p>
