<p class="MsoNormal" style="margin-bottom: 6pt; text-align: justify; line-height: normal; background: white;"><span style="font-family: Tahoma, sans-serif; color: #5d5d5d;">Further, the Regional Office has reported as under :</span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal" style="margin-bottom: 0cm; text-align: justify; text-indent: -18pt; line-height: 18pt; background: white;"><span style="font-family: Tahoma, sans-serif; color: #5d5d5d;">1.</span><span style="font-size: 5pt; font-family: 'Times New Roman', serif; color: #5d5d5d;"> </span><span style="font-family: Tahoma, sans-serif; color: #5d5d5d;">The PP has not provided any treatment facility before discharge into MC sewer.</span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal" style="margin-bottom: 0cm; text-align: justify; text-indent: -18pt; line-height: 18pt; background: white;"><span style="font-family: Tahoma, sans-serif; color: #5d5d5d;">2.</span><span style="font-size: 5pt; font-family: 'Times New Roman', serif; color: #5d5d5d;"> </span><span style="font-family: Tahoma, sans-serif; color: #5d5d5d;">The PP has failed to provide arrangement for handling of MSW of the colony.</span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal" style="margin-bottom: 0cm; text-align: justify; text-indent: -18pt; line-height: 18pt; background: white;"><span style="font-family: Tahoma, sans-serif; color: #5d5d5d;">3.</span><span style="font-size: 5pt; font-family: 'Times New Roman', serif; color: #5d5d5d;"> </span><span style="font-family: Tahoma, sans-serif; color: #5d5d5d;">The project proponent has failed to submit total built-up area of the project to ascertain the applicability of environmental clearance as per EIA notification dated 14.09.2006. </span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal" style="margin-bottom: 0cm; text-align: justify; text-indent: -18pt; line-height: 18pt; background: white;"><span style="text-indent: -18pt; font-family: Tahoma, sans-serif; color: #5d5d5d;"> </span><span style="text-indent: -18pt; font-family: Tahoma, sans-serif; color: #5d5d5d;"> Further, an observation was raised by Senior Environmental Engineer, that the PP previously applied for obtaining CTE from some another ID and now application has been registered under new ID. Also, as per the </span><span style="text-indent: -18pt; background-image: initial; background-position: initial; background-size: initial; background-repeat: initial; background-attachment: initial; background-origin: initial; background-clip: initial; font-family: Verdana, sans-serif; color: #5d5d5d;">project report submitted at the time of submission of NOC application, the cost of land and construction was shown as Rs. 9 crore and Rs. 34.4 crore, respectively, whereas as per the CA certificate dated 06.07.2022, the cost has been shown as Rs. 14.62 crore only. The Regional Office submitted letter obtained from the authorised signatory of the colony dated 16.08.2022, wherein it has been informed that actual incurred figure is Rs. 14.62 crores and that they were not aware that they have old ID while registering on invest Punjab.</span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal" style="text-align: justify; text-indent: -18pt; line-height: 18pt; background: white;"><span style="font-family: Verdana, sans-serif; color: #5d5d5d; background-image: initial; background-position: initial; background-size: initial; background-repeat: initial; background-attachment: initial; background-origin: initial; background-clip: initial;"> </span><span style="font-family: Tahoma, sans-serif; color: #5d5d5d;">In view of above, if approved, show cause notice for refusal of consent to operate under the provisions of Water Act, 1974 & Air Act, 1981 be issued to the residential colony alongwith an opportunity of personal hearing. </span></p>
