It is intimated the industry has submitted a feasibility report of the proposed Pollution control device which will be installed by the industry. The same is not in order as the industry has not given characteristics/ pollution load of wastewater to be generated from the process as well as treated wastewater. But the industry has also proposed the treated effluent (5.0 KLD) after treatment in the ETP. 100 % re-circulated in the washing. But RO has not given comments on whether ZLD is possible in such type of wet process after the treatment proposed by the industry.</span></p>

<p style="text-align: justify;"><span style="font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt;">If approved SCN for refusal CTE may be issued to the industry with the opportunity to submit the reply within 7 days. EE, RO may also be requested to give his comments on reply to be submitted by the industry as well as whether ZLD is possible in such type of wet process, if yes elaborate please and send the fresh recommendation on merit.</span></p>
