<p style="text-align: justify;"><span style="font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt;">Kindly peruse the agenda note and recommendation given by RO. It is intimated that the industry granted CTE ( expansion ) with the special conditions under- </span></p>
<p style="text-align: justify;"><span style="font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt;">1. The industry shall not increase in any pollution load after an increase in production capacity of Clear, Metallic, Pearl Lacquer & Hand Rub from 10 KLD (existing products) to Clear, Metallic, Pearl Lacquer, Primer, Thinner, Putty, Paint Remover & Hand Rub @ 40 KL/Day. </span></p>
<p style="text-align: justify;"><span style="font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt;">2. The industry shall install ETP followed by RO and evaporator system for treatment of entire trade effluent generated from its premises/processes. Permeate of RO will be used back in the process and reject of RO shall either be evaporated through MEE or will be force evaporated with electricity. So, there will be no discharge of trade effluent from their process. The industry shall submit the feasibility report/proposal in this regard to the Regional Office, Mohali, within 15 days. </span></p>
<p style="text-align: justify;"><span style="font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt;">3. Entire domestic effluent shall be discharged onto land for plantation after treatment in the septic tank. The industry shall submit the plan within 15 days by marking the area under plantation i.e. about 46476.34 Square feet, as mentioned in its request. </span></p>
<p style="text-align: justify;"><span style="font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt;">4. The industry shall comply with all the conditions of the environmental clearance granted to it by the MoEF&CC on 5.1.2021.</span></p>

<p style="text-align: justify;"><span style="font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt;"> 5. The industry shall make proper arrangements for the hazardous waste generated from its premises.</span></p>
<p style="text-align: justify;"><span style="font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt;"> 6. The industry shall not start the manufacturing of its proposed products without the prior approval of the Board.</span></p>
<p style="text-align: justify;"><span style="font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt;">7. The industry shall ensure that the sample collection facility attached with the stack should be as per guidelines mentioned in EPR-3 norms prescribed by the CPCB. </span></p>
<p style="text-align: justify;"><span style="font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt;">8. The industry shall not install any boiler, or additional furnace on its premise, without prior approval of the Board.</span></p>
<p style="text-align: justify;"><span style="font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt;"> 9. The industry shall not consume any other fuel for burning purposes except HSD for D.G. Set installed within its premises, without the prior written permission of the Board. </span></p>
<p style="text-align: justify;"><span style="font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt;">10. The industry shall submit approved building plans approved by the Director of Factories, Punjab, Chandigarh. </span></p>
<p style="text-align: justify;"><span style="font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt;">But RO has not given comments on whether the industry is complying with the special conditions or not.</span></p>
<p style="text-align: justify;"><span style="font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt;"> </span></p>
<p style="text-align: justify;"><span style="font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt;"> If approved EERO may be requested to give his comments on CTE expansion Conditions in annotated form and send the further recommendation on merit within two days.</span></p> |
