<p class="MsoNormal" style="text-align: justify;"><span lang="EN-IN" style="font-family: 'Tahoma','sans-serif'; color: black; mso-themecolor: text1;">The industry was granted consent to operate under Water Act, 1974 & Air Act, 1981 vide no. CTOW/Varied/BTI/2018/7660312 & CTOA/Varied/BTI/2018/7660121 dt. 04.07.2018 for production of </span><span lang="EN-IN" style="font-family: 'Tahoma','sans-serif';">raw rice/sorted rice @ 3 TPH<span style="color: black; mso-themecolor: text1;"> without dryer, both are valid upto 30.09.2022, subject to suitable conditions mentioned therein.</span></span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal" style="text-align: justify;"><span lang="EN-IN" style="font-family: 'Tahoma','sans-serif';"> </span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal" style="text-align: justify;"><span lang="EN-IN" style="font-family: 'Tahoma','sans-serif';">The industry has applied for varied consents to operate under the Water Act, 1974 and Air Act, 1981 through OCMMS for operation of rice sheller unit @ 3 TPH of raw rice/sorted with dryer under the Orange category as per the prevailing policy. The detail of the case is as under:-</span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal" style="text-align: justify;"><span lang="EN-IN" style="font-family: 'Tahoma','sans-serif';"> </span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal" style="text-align: justify;"><span lang="EN-IN" style="font-family: 'Tahoma','sans-serif';">The industry has deposited consent fee of </span><span lang="EN-IN" style="font-family: 'Tahoma','sans-serif'; mso-fareast-font-family: Arial;">Rs. 18,000/- vide R no. AXSK222170019642</span><span lang="EN-IN" style="font-family: 'Tahoma','sans-serif';"> and </span><span lang="EN-IN" style="font-family: 'Tahoma','sans-serif'; mso-fareast-font-family: Arial;">AXSK222170019597 dt. 05.08.2020 </span><span lang="EN-IN" style="font-family: 'Tahoma','sans-serif';">under the <span style="color: black; mso-themecolor: text1;">Water Act, 1974 & Air Act, 1981. The consent fee deposited by the industry</span>, adequate upto 30.09.2027 <span style="color: black; mso-themecolor: text1;">under</span> both the acts.</span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal" style="text-align: justify;"><span lang="EN-IN" style="font-family: 'Tahoma','sans-serif';"> </span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal" style="text-align: justify;"><span lang="EN-IN" style="font-family: 'Tahoma','sans-serif';">The industry has submitted certificate vide no. SPL-1 dated 11.07.2022 issued by Executive Officer, Maur to the name of industry regarding the site of the industry falls outside the limits of Municipal Council, Maur.</span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal" style="text-align: justify;"><span lang="EN-IN" style="font-family: 'Tahoma','sans-serif';"> </span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal" style="text-align: justify;"><span lang="EN-IN" style="font-family: 'Tahoma','sans-serif';">The industry has also submitted feasibility and completion report for APCD installed at dryer section.</span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal" style="margin-right: .2pt; text-align: justify;"><span lang="EN-IN" style="font-family: 'Tahoma','sans-serif';"> </span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal" style="margin-right: .2pt; text-align: justify;"><span lang="EN-IN" style="font-family: 'Tahoma','sans-serif';">The industry was visited by JEE on 17.08.2022 and it was observed as under: -</span></p>

<p class="MsoNormal" style="text-align: justify; line-height: normal; margin: 0in .2pt 10.0pt 0in;"><span lang="EN-IN" style="font-family: 'Tahoma','sans-serif';">The industry was not in operation during visit.</span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal" style="text-align: justify; line-height: normal;"><span lang="EN-IN" style="font-family: 'Tahoma','sans-serif';"> </span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal" style="text-align: justify; line-height: normal;"><span lang="EN-IN" style="font-family: 'Tahoma','sans-serif';">The industry has installed cyclones as APCDs with shelling section and paddy cleaner of dryer section, separately to contain the process emissions and the same were in operationable condition with all dust emitting points connected to the APCDs.</span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal" style="text-align: justify; line-height: normal;"><span lang="EN-IN" style="font-family: 'Tahoma','sans-serif';"> </span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal" style="text-align: justify; line-height: normal;"><span lang="EN-IN" style="font-family: 'Tahoma','sans-serif';">The industry has provided stack of adequate height with the APCDs alongwith provisions to facilitate emission sampling.</span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal" style="text-align: justify; line-height: normal;"><span lang="EN-IN" style="font-family: 'Tahoma','sans-serif';"> </span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal" style="text-align: justify; line-height: normal;"><span lang="EN-IN" style="font-family: 'Tahoma','sans-serif';">The industry has provided brick wall of adequate length with 10' height around husk discharge / storage area and provided wind screen/sheet of 5’ ft height provided above the said wall.</span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal" style="text-align: justify; line-height: normal;"><span lang="EN-IN" style="font-family: 'Tahoma','sans-serif';"> </span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal" style="text-align: justify; line-height: normal;"><span lang="EN-IN" style="font-family: 'Tahoma','sans-serif';">The industry has provided brick paved road inside the premises in the vehicle movement area for the control of fugitive emissions.</span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal" style="text-align: justify; line-height: normal;"><span lang="EN-IN" style="font-family: 'Tahoma','sans-serif';"> </span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal" style="text-align: justify; line-height: normal;"><span lang="EN-IN" style="font-family: 'Tahoma','sans-serif';">The industry has made adequate plantation along the boundary wall.</span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal" style="text-align: justify; line-height: normal;"><span lang="EN-IN" style="font-family: 'Tahoma','sans-serif';"> </span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal" style="text-align: justify; line-height: normal;"><span lang="EN-IN" style="font-family: 'Tahoma','sans-serif';">The industry has provided septic tanks for treatment of domestic effluent and the discharge of the same is onto land for plantation after treatment.</span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal" style="text-align: justify; line-height: normal;"><span lang="EN-IN" style="font-family: 'Tahoma','sans-serif';"> </span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal" style="text-align: justify; line-height: normal;"><span lang="EN-IN" style="font-family: 'Tahoma','sans-serif';">The site of unit falls outside Municipal limits of Maur Mandi as per certificate issued by Executive Officer, Maur Mandi as mentioned above. The site of the unit is suitable for expansion / installation of dryer.</span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal" style="text-align: justify;"><span lang="EN-IN" style="font-family: 'Tahoma','sans-serif';"> </span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal" style="text-align: justify;"><span lang="EN-IN" style="font-family: 'Tahoma','sans-serif';">The industry is complying with the provisions of the Water Act, 1974 & Air Act, 1981 as well as code of practice prescribed by the Govt. vide order dt. 15.10.2013 for such type of units. </span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal"><span lang="EN-IN" style="font-family: 'Tahoma','sans-serif';"> </span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal"><span lang="EN-IN" style="font-family: 'Tahoma','sans-serif';">Keeping in the view of above, if approved, varied consents to operate under Water Act, 1974 & Air Act, 1981 may be granted to the industry for a period upto 30.09.2027 for the production of raw rice/sorted rice @ 3 TPH with dryer, subject to suitable conditions and special condition that the industry will get its emission sample analysed from all stacks within one month after commissioning of coming paddy season i.e. 2022-23 from Board’s lab.</span></p> |
