<p class="MsoNoSpacing" style="text-align: justify; line-height: 115%;"><span style="font-family: 'Tahoma','sans-serif'; background: white;">It is submitted that, the industry was granted consent to establish (NOC) from pollution angle vide no. CTE/Fresh/LDHKH/2021/17142143 dated 09-11-2021 having validity upto 08-11-2022 for establishing a city gas station under green category subject to conditions as mentioned therein. </span></p>
<p class="MsoNoSpacing" style="text-align: justify; line-height: 115%;"><span style="font-family: 'Tahoma','sans-serif'; background: white;"> Now, the industry has applied for obtaining fresh consent to operate under the Water (Prevention & Control of Pollution) Act, 1974. </span></p>
<p class="MsoNoSpacing" style="text-align: justify; line-height: 115%;"><span style="font-family: 'Tahoma','sans-serif'; background: white;"> The project proponent has submitted CA certificate of Rs. 361.65 lakhs in which it is mentioned that it is the proposed amount. The industry has deposited Rs. 42000/- vide Receipt No. SBIN222203427209 dated 22/07/2022 as consent fee under the Water (Prevention & Control of Pollution) Act, 1974. The consent fee deposited by the industry is adequate upto 14/08/2027.</span></p>
<p class="MsoNoSpacing" style="text-align: justify; line-height: 115%;"><span style="font-family: 'Tahoma','sans-serif'; background: white;"> The site was visited by the undersigned on 22/08/2022 and contacted Sh. Arjun Sharma, Senior Engineer at site. During visit, it was observed as under:</span></p>

<p class="MsoNoSpacing" style="margin-left: 1.0in; text-align: justify; text-indent: -.5in; line-height: 115%; mso-list: l0 level1 lfo1;"><!-- [if !supportLists]--><span style="font-family: 'Tahoma','sans-serif'; mso-fareast-font-family: Tahoma;">2.<span style="font-variant-numeric: normal; font-variant-east-asian: normal; font-stretch: normal; font-size: 7pt; line-height: normal; font-family: 'Times New Roman';"> </span></span><!--[endif]--><span style="font-family: 'Tahoma','sans-serif'; background: white;">The project is yet to be commissioned. The representative of the project informed that the CGS shall be commissioned in about 10-15 days.</span></p>
<p class="MsoNoSpacing" style="margin-left: 1.0in; text-align: justify; text-indent: -.5in; line-height: 115%; mso-list: l0 level1 lfo1;"><!-- [if !supportLists]--><span style="font-family: 'Tahoma','sans-serif'; mso-fareast-font-family: Tahoma;">3.<span style="font-variant-numeric: normal; font-variant-east-asian: normal; font-stretch: normal; font-size: 7pt; line-height: normal; font-family: 'Times New Roman';"> </span></span><!--[endif]--><span style="font-family: 'Tahoma','sans-serif'; background: white;">The project proponent has provided toilet/bathroom and the representative informed that it has provided underground treatment facility for treatment of domestic effluent, but no outlet of the same could be seen. The representative of the project proponent was told to provide an outlet and inform this office, immediately. But, he has failed to do so, till date. </span></p>
<p class="MsoNoSpacing" style="margin-left: 1.0in; text-align: justify; text-indent: -.5in; line-height: 115%; mso-list: l0 level1 lfo1;"><!-- [if !supportLists]--><span style="font-family: 'Tahoma','sans-serif'; mso-fareast-font-family: Tahoma;">4.<span style="font-variant-numeric: normal; font-variant-east-asian: normal; font-stretch: normal; font-size: 7pt; line-height: normal; font-family: 'Times New Roman';"> </span></span><!--[endif]--><span style="font-family: 'Tahoma','sans-serif'; background: white;">The project proponent has provided less plantation along the boundary wall and it was advised to plant more trees wherever space is available.</span></p>

<p class="MsoNoSpacing" style="text-align: justify; line-height: 115%;"><span style="font-family: 'Tahoma','sans-serif'; background: white;"> In view of above mentioned facts, the application of the industry may be returned with the request to remove the above said discrepancies and re-submit the case.</span></p> |
