<p class="MsoNormal" style="text-align: justify;">Kindly peruse the Note History / Recommendation of EE, RO, FGS. Following observations are required to be clarified by the industry:</p>
<p class="MsoListParagraphCxSpFirst" style="text-align: justify; text-indent: -.25in; mso-list: l0 level1 lfo1;"><!-- [if !supportLists]--><span style="mso-bidi-font-family: Calibri; mso-bidi-theme-font: minor-latin;"><span style="mso-list: Ignore;">A)<span style="font: 7.0pt 'Times New Roman';"> </span></span></span><!--[endif]-->The industry has proposed to replace its 6 TPH boiler with 10 TPH boiler wherein paddy straw will be used as fuel and multi cyclone followed by wet scrubber shall be provided as APCD. At present, the industry is having two boilers of capacity 6 TPH & 4 TPH equipped with Multi cyclone separator & Cyclone separator, respectively but with common stack of height 38 m above GL. After replacement, as to whether there will be common stack or separate stacks with APCDs of two boilers.</p>
<p class="MsoListParagraphCxSpMiddle" style="text-align: justify; text-indent: -.25in; mso-list: l0 level1 lfo1;"><!-- [if !supportLists]--><span style="mso-bidi-font-family: Calibri; mso-bidi-theme-font: minor-latin;"><span style="mso-list: Ignore;">B)<span style="font: 7.0pt 'Times New Roman';"> </span></span></span><!--[endif]--><span style="mso-spacerun: yes;"> </span>The industry has mentioned in its feasibility report that 15 KLD Wastewater (RO Reject) and 0.5 KLD Boiler blow down generated from the unit will be treated by the ETP (installed in the industry), and is used for the plantation of Eucalyptus trees in 1 acre of land (Karnal Technology). However, as per agenda note, the representative of the industry informed that no need of Effluent Treatment Plant (ETP) as whole of the solvent is recovered and process wastewater after recovery is directly used in the cooling tower. Please clarify as to whether any treatment system has been installed.</p>
<p class="MsoListParagraphCxSpMiddle" style="text-align: justify; text-indent: -.25in; mso-list: l0 level1 lfo1;"><!-- [if !supportLists]--><span style="mso-bidi-font-family: Calibri; mso-bidi-theme-font: minor-latin;"><span style="mso-list: Ignore;">C)<span style="font: 7.0pt 'Times New Roman';"> </span></span></span><!--[endif]-->The industry is generating RO reject @ 15-20 KLD, Boiler blow down @ 0.5 KLD and domestic effluent @ 9.2 KLD and the same used in the ash quenching and remaining if any is discharges onto land for plantation after dilution to ensure that the concentration of TDS is below 2100 mg/Nm3. Please mention the arrangement provided for dilution of RO reject & Boiler Blow down and the system to ensure that TDS is below 2100 mg/Nm3. <span style="mso-spacerun: yes;"> </span></p>
<p class="MsoListParagraphCxSpMiddle" style="text-align: justify;"> If approved, the industry be asked to clarify the aforesaid observations within three days. </p>
