CTOW/Fresh/LDH1/2017/5845491 dated 20.07.2017 valid upto 31.12.2021 and Air (Prevention & Control of Pollution) Act, 1981 vide no. CTOA/Fresh/LDH1/2017/5845374 dated 20.07.2017 valid upto 31.12.2021 with special conditions mentioned therein.</span></h6>
<h6 style="text-align: justify;"><span style="font-size: 11.5pt; font-family: 'Tahoma','sans-serif'; mso-ansi-language: EN-US; mso-fareast-language: EN-US; font-weight: normal; mso-bidi-font-weight: bold;"> The industry is a small scale green category unit & engaged in manufacturing of Industrial Bags, Sheets & H.M Bags.</span><span style="font-size: 11.5pt; font-family: 'Tahoma','sans-serif'; mso-fareast-font-family: Calibri; mso-ansi-language: EN-US; mso-fareast-language: EN-US; font-weight: normal;"> </span></h6>
<h6 style="text-align: justify;"><span style="font-size: 11.5pt; font-family: 'Tahoma','sans-serif'; mso-fareast-font-family: Calibri; mso-ansi-language: EN-US; mso-fareast-language: EN-US; font-weight: normal;"> T</span><span style="font-size: 11.5pt; font-family: 'Tahoma','sans-serif'; mso-ansi-language: EN-US; mso-fareast-language: EN-US; font-weight: normal; mso-bidi-font-weight: bold;">he industry has applied for fresh 'Consent to Operate' under Water Act, 1974 & Air Act, 1981. To verify the facts, the industry was visited by AEE of this office on 05.09.2022 & following observations were made:-</span></h6>

<li class="MsoNormal" style="text-align: justify; mso-pagination: widow-orphan; mso-list: l0 level1 lfo1; text-autospace: ideograph-numeric ideograph-other;"><span style="font-size: 11.5pt; font-family: 'Tahoma','sans-serif';">The industry was in operation during the visit & engaged in manufacturing of Industrial Bags, Sheets & H.M Bags.</span></li>
<li class="MsoNormal" style="text-align: justify; mso-pagination: widow-orphan; mso-list: l0 level1 lfo1; text-autospace: ideograph-numeric ideograph-other;"><span style="font-size: 11.5pt; font-family: 'Tahoma','sans-serif';">The industry has no source of trade effluent generation & only domestic effluent @ 0.2 KLD is being discharged into sewer.</span></li>
<li class="MsoNormal" style="text-align: justify; mso-pagination: widow-orphan; mso-list: l0 level1 lfo1; text-autospace: ideograph-numeric ideograph-other;"><span style="font-size: 11.5pt; font-family: 'Tahoma','sans-serif';">There is no source of air pollution such as boiler/furnace etc.</span></li>
<li class="MsoNormal" style="text-align: justify; mso-pagination: widow-orphan; mso-list: l0 level1 lfo1; text-autospace: ideograph-numeric ideograph-other;"><span style="font-size: 11.5pt; font-family: 'Tahoma','sans-serif';">The industry has not installed D.G. set.</span></li>
<li class="MsoNormal" style="text-align: justify; mso-pagination: widow-orphan; mso-list: l0 level1 lfo1; text-autospace: ideograph-numeric ideograph-other;"><span style="font-size: 11.5pt; font-family: 'Tahoma','sans-serif';">The industry has submitted building plan prepared by the competent person under Factory Act, 194.</span></li>
<li class="MsoNormal" style="text-align: justify; mso-pagination: widow-orphan; mso-list: l0 level1 lfo1; text-autospace: ideograph-numeric ideograph-other;"><span style="font-size: 11.5pt; font-family: 'Tahoma','sans-serif';">The industry is complying with the various provisions of Water Act, 1974 & Air Act, 1981</span></li>
<li class="MsoNormal" style="text-align: justify; mso-pagination: widow-orphan; mso-list: l0 level1 lfo1; text-autospace: ideograph-numeric ideograph-other;"><span style="font-size: 11.5pt; font-family: 'Tahoma','sans-serif';">The competency to decide consent lies with Environmental Engineer, Regional Office, as it is a green category unit.</span></li>

<p class="MsoNormal" style="text-align: justify; tab-stops: 35.1pt;"><span style="font-size: 11.5pt; font-family: 'Tahoma','sans-serif';"> In view of the above, it is recommended that the industry may be granted 'Consent to Operate' under Water Act, 1974 & Air Act, 1981 upto 31.12.2025 with suitable conditions as per policy of the Board & with special conditions that: </span></p>

<p class="TableParagraph" style="text-align: justify; text-indent: -.25in; mso-list: l1 level1 lfo2; tab-stops: 44.9pt; margin: 0in .45pt .0001pt 80.85pt;"><!-- [if !supportLists]-->b)<span style="font-variant-numeric: normal; font-variant-east-asian: normal; font-stretch: normal; font-size: 7pt; line-height: normal; font-family: 'Times New Roman';"> </span><!--[endif]--><span style="font-family: 'Tahoma','sans-serif';">The industry shall not install any water and air polluting machinery without prior permission of the Board.</span></p>
