<p class="MsoNormal" style="text-align: justify;">It is submitted that the representative of the industry was contacted and he informed that the consumption of rice husk in boiler is more than 12 TPD, accordingly they have deposited cto fee for red category industry.</p>
<p class="MsoNormal" style="text-align: justify;">Accordingly, the industry was visited by undersigned on 07.09.2022 and it was observed as under: -</p>
<p class="MsoNormal" style="text-align: justify;"><span style="font-family: Symbol; mso-ascii-font-family: Calibri; mso-ascii-theme-font: minor-latin; mso-hansi-font-family: Calibri; mso-hansi-theme-font: minor-latin; mso-char-type: symbol; mso-symbol-font-family: Symbol;"><span style="mso-char-type: symbol; mso-symbol-font-family: Symbol;">·</span></span> The industry was not in operation for production of saila/steamed rice or raw rice.</p>
<p class="MsoNormal" style="text-align: justify;"><span style="mso-spacerun: yes;"> </span><span style="font-family: Symbol; mso-ascii-font-family: Calibri; mso-ascii-theme-font: minor-latin; mso-hansi-font-family: Calibri; mso-hansi-theme-font: minor-latin; mso-char-type: symbol; mso-symbol-font-family: Symbol;"><span style="mso-char-type: symbol; mso-symbol-font-family: Symbol;">·</span></span> The industry has installed ETP for treatment of trade effluent generated from parboiling section which consists of Equalization Tank, Anaerobic filter, Aeration tank with floating surface aerator, secondary settling tank and sludge drying beds. ETP provided by the industry was in operationable condition & all mechanical components were in line. The industry has provided separate energy meter with the ETP as well as EMF meter at outlet of ETP.</p>
<p class="MsoNormal" style="text-align: justify;"><span style="font-family: Symbol; mso-ascii-font-family: Calibri; mso-ascii-theme-font: minor-latin; mso-hansi-font-family: Calibri; mso-hansi-theme-font: minor-latin; mso-char-type: symbol; mso-symbol-font-family: Symbol;"><span style="mso-char-type: symbol; mso-symbol-font-family: Symbol;">·</span></span> The industry has developed plantation in an area of 1.5 acres land within premises of the industry for discharging treated trade effluent of parboiling section and the condition of plantation area was found good.</p>
<p class="MsoNormal" style="text-align: justify;"><span style="font-family: Symbol; mso-ascii-font-family: Calibri; mso-ascii-theme-font: minor-latin; mso-hansi-font-family: Calibri; mso-hansi-theme-font: minor-latin; mso-char-type: symbol; mso-symbol-font-family: Symbol;"><span style="mso-char-type: symbol; mso-symbol-font-family: Symbol;">·</span></span> The industry has installed multi-cyclone as APCD to contain flue gas emissions of rice husk fired boiler of capacity 6 TPH and stack of adequate height has been provided with infrastructure to facilitate emission sampling.</p>
<p class="MsoNormal" style="text-align: justify;"><span style="font-family: Symbol; mso-ascii-font-family: Calibri; mso-ascii-theme-font: minor-latin; mso-hansi-font-family: Calibri; mso-hansi-theme-font: minor-latin; mso-char-type: symbol; mso-symbol-font-family: Symbol;"><span style="mso-char-type: symbol; mso-symbol-font-family: Symbol;">·</span></span> The industry has installed cyclones as APCDs with pre-cleaning section and shelling section of parboiling plant, to contain the emissions with stack of adequate height and provisions to facilitate emission sampling, which was found in line / operationable condition.</p>
<p class="MsoNormal" style="text-align: justify;"><span style="font-family: Symbol; mso-ascii-font-family: Calibri; mso-ascii-theme-font: minor-latin; mso-hansi-font-family: Calibri; mso-hansi-theme-font: minor-latin; mso-char-type: symbol; mso-symbol-font-family: Symbol;"><span style="mso-char-type: symbol; mso-symbol-font-family: Symbol;">·</span></span> The industry has installed cyclones as APCDs with pre-cleaning section and shelling section of rice sheller unit for production of raw rice, to contain the emissions with stack of adequate height and provision to facilitate emission sampling, which was found in line / operationable condition.</p>
<p class="MsoNormal" style="text-align: justify;"><span style="mso-spacerun: yes;"> </span><span style="font-family: Symbol; mso-ascii-font-family: Calibri; mso-ascii-theme-font: minor-latin; mso-hansi-font-family: Calibri; mso-hansi-theme-font: minor-latin; mso-char-type: symbol; mso-symbol-font-family: Symbol;"><span style="mso-char-type: symbol; mso-symbol-font-family: Symbol;">·</span></span> The industry has provided pipelines for taking rice husk from husk discharge points of shelling sections to boiler feeding point and mechanical feeding system has been provided for feeding of rice husk in furnace of boiler.</p>
<p class="MsoNormal" style="text-align: justify;"><span style="font-family: Symbol; mso-ascii-font-family: Calibri; mso-ascii-theme-font: minor-latin; mso-hansi-font-family: Calibri; mso-hansi-theme-font: minor-latin; mso-char-type: symbol; mso-symbol-font-family: Symbol;"><span style="mso-char-type: symbol; mso-symbol-font-family: Symbol;">·</span></span> The industry has provided brick wall of adequate length with 10’ height around the husk storage area and further MS mesh of 5’ height has been provided above brick wall for storage of rice husk</p>
<p class="MsoNormal" style="text-align: justify;"><span style="font-family: Symbol; mso-ascii-font-family: Calibri; mso-ascii-theme-font: minor-latin; mso-hansi-font-family: Calibri; mso-hansi-theme-font: minor-latin; mso-char-type: symbol; mso-symbol-font-family: Symbol;"><span style="mso-char-type: symbol; mso-symbol-font-family: Symbol;">·</span></span> The industry has provided room type enclosure with roof of 40’ x 25’ x 16’ for storage of fuel ash temporarily before its disposal to low lying area / usage by the farmers as manure along-with arrangement for wetting of fuel ash to avoid its blowing.</p>
<p class="MsoNormal" style="text-align: justify;"><span style="font-family: Symbol; mso-ascii-font-family: Calibri; mso-ascii-theme-font: minor-latin; mso-hansi-font-family: Calibri; mso-hansi-theme-font: minor-latin; mso-char-type: symbol; mso-symbol-font-family: Symbol;"><span style="mso-char-type: symbol; mso-symbol-font-family: Symbol;">·</span></span> The industry has provided brick paving at movement area of vehicles, within its premises.</p>
<p class="MsoNormal" style="text-align: justify;"><span style="font-family: Symbol; mso-ascii-font-family: Calibri; mso-ascii-theme-font: minor-latin; mso-hansi-font-family: Calibri; mso-hansi-theme-font: minor-latin; mso-char-type: symbol; mso-symbol-font-family: Symbol;"><span style="mso-char-type: symbol; mso-symbol-font-family: Symbol;">·</span></span> The industry has planted trees along its boundary wall.</p>
<p class="MsoNormal" style="text-align: justify;"><span style="font-family: Symbol; mso-ascii-font-family: Calibri; mso-ascii-theme-font: minor-latin; mso-hansi-font-family: Calibri; mso-hansi-theme-font: minor-latin; mso-char-type: symbol; mso-symbol-font-family: Symbol;"><span style="mso-char-type: symbol; mso-symbol-font-family: Symbol;">·</span></span> The industry is complying with the provisions of the Water Act, 1974 and Air Act, 1981 for operation of parboiling plant / rice sheller unit as well as code of practice prescribed by the Govt. order dt. 15.10.2013.</p>
<p class="MsoNormal" style="text-align: justify;">The adequacy of CTO fee is upto 30.09.2027 under Red Category unit.</p>
