<p class="MsoBodyText" style="text-align: justify; text-indent: 2.0cm; line-height: 115%; margin: 5.0pt 0cm 6.0pt 0cm;"><span lang="EN-US">It is submitted that the industry has applied for obtaining consent to<span style="letter-spacing: .05pt;"> </span>establish (NOC) under the Water (Prevention & Control of Pollution) Act, 1974 and the Air (Prevention & Control of Pollution) Act, 1981 for establishment of a new unit for manufacturing of all type of yarns @18 MTD by using Polyster Staple fiber @6 MTD and all types of spinning waste & textiles cut waste @18MTD<span style="mso-spacerun: yes;"> </span>as raw materials, alongwith requisite documents.</span></p>
<p class="MsoBodyText" style="text-align: justify; text-indent: 2.0cm; line-height: 115%; margin: 5.0pt 0cm 6.0pt 0cm;"><span lang="EN-US">The industry has deposited Rs. 144000/- vide online Rs. 144000.0/- vide R.No.62747419 dated 30.08.2022 (linked with App. ID. 19421478), against the cost of the project of Rs. 6569.33 lakh (as per application form). The NOC fees deposited by the industry is adequate for three years, against the proposed cost of the project of Rs. 6569.33 lakh. </span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal" style="text-align: justify; text-indent: 70.9pt; line-height: 115%;"><span lang="EN-US" style="font-family: 'Tahoma','sans-serif';">The industry has submitted a copy of the classification of land use issued by the DTP, SAS Nagar vide his letter no. 1310 dated 20/07/2022 wherein it has been mentioned that the area under Khasra no. 54, 55, 56, 57, 58, 59, 60, 61, 62, 63, 64, 65 and 66 in revenue estate of village Jeoli, Tehsil Derabassi, Distt. SAS Nagar, wherein it has been mentioned as under:</span></p>

<p class="MsoNormal" style="text-align: justify; text-indent: 70.9pt; line-height: 115%;"><span lang="EN-US" style="font-family: 'Tahoma','sans-serif';">As such, the site of the industry is suitable.</span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal" style="text-align: justify; text-indent: 70.9pt; line-height: 115%;"><span lang="EN-US" style="font-family: 'Tahoma','sans-serif';"> </span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal" style="text-align: justify; text-indent: 70.9pt; line-height: 115%;"><span lang="EN-US" style="font-family: 'Tahoma','sans-serif';">As per the application form and online reply submitted by the industry in lieu of the clarifications raised by PBIP, the industry has proposed to install STP of capacity 20 KLD to treat the domestic effluent @16 KLD to be generated from the unit and has proposed to discharged treated waste water on to land for plantation/ green lowns in an area of 5acers within its premises. </span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal" style="text-align: justify; text-indent: 70.9pt; line-height: 115%;"><span lang="EN-US" style="font-family: 'Tahoma','sans-serif';"> </span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal" style="text-align: justify; text-indent: 70.9pt; line-height: 115%;"><span lang="EN-US" style="font-family: 'Tahoma','sans-serif';">Further, scrutiny of the application has already being completed at PBIP level, after checking all the required documents at their end.</span></p>
<p class="MsoBodyText" style="text-align: justify; text-indent: 2.0cm; line-height: 115%; margin: 12.0pt 3.7pt .0001pt 0cm;"><span lang="EN-US">In view of above, if may approved ‘consent to establish’ (NOC) under the Water (Prevention & Control of Pollution) Act, 1974 and the Air (Prevention & Control of Pollution) Act, 1981 may be granted to the industry for one year, with usual conditions & with following special conditions:</span></p>

<p class="MsoListParagraph" style="text-indent: -14.15pt; line-height: 115%; mso-list: l0 level1 lfo1; margin: 4.5pt -2.3pt .0001pt 35.45pt;"><!-- [if !supportLists]--><span lang="EN-US" style="font-size: 12.0pt; line-height: 115%; letter-spacing: -.05pt; background: yellow; mso-highlight: yellow;"><span style="mso-list: Ignore;">3.<span style="font: 7.0pt 'Times New Roman';"> </span></span></span><!--[endif]--><span lang="EN-US" style="font-size: 12.0pt; mso-bidi-font-size: 11.0pt; line-height: 115%;">The industry shall not carry out any activity in its premises which can change the category of the unit from orange to red.</span></p>

<p class="MsoListParagraph" style="text-indent: -14.15pt; line-height: 115%; mso-list: l0 level1 lfo1; margin: 4.5pt -2.3pt .0001pt 35.45pt;"><!-- [if !supportLists]--><span lang="EN-US" style="font-size: 12.0pt; line-height: 115%; letter-spacing: -.05pt;"><span style="mso-list: Ignore;">5.<span style="font: 7.0pt 'Times New Roman';"> </span></span></span><!--[endif]--><span lang="EN-US" style="font-size: 12.0pt; mso-bidi-font-size: 11.0pt; line-height: 115%;">The industry has been approved by the Board from pollution angle and the industry shall obtain the statutory clearances / permissions from all other concerned departments.</span></p>
<p class="MsoListParagraph" style="text-indent: -14.15pt; line-height: 115%; mso-list: l0 level1 lfo1; margin: 4.5pt -2.3pt .0001pt 35.45pt;"><!-- [if !supportLists]--><span lang="EN-US" style="font-size: 12.0pt; line-height: 115%; letter-spacing: -.05pt;"><span style="mso-list: Ignore;">6.<span style="font: 7.0pt 'Times New Roman';"> </span></span></span><!--[endif]--><span lang="EN-US" style="font-size: 12.0pt; mso-bidi-font-size: 11.0pt; line-height: 115%;">The adequacy/ efficacy of the pollution control arrangements shall be the sole responsibility of the industry and the industry shall be bound to implement/ upgrade its pollution control arrangements as per the discretion of the Board to achieve the prescribed emission/ effluent standards, as amended from time to time.</span></p>
<p class="MsoListParagraph" style="text-indent: -14.15pt; line-height: 115%; mso-list: l0 level1 lfo1; margin: 4.5pt -2.3pt .0001pt 35.45pt;"><!-- [if !supportLists]--><span lang="EN-US" style="font-size: 12.0pt; line-height: 115%; letter-spacing: -.05pt;"><span style="mso-list: Ignore;">7.<span style="font: 7.0pt 'Times New Roman';"> </span></span></span><!--[endif]--><span lang="EN-US" style="font-size: 12.0pt; mso-bidi-font-size: 11.0pt; line-height: 115%;">The industry shall ensure the compliance of provisions of the Water (Prevention & Control of Pollution) Act, 1974, Air (Prevention & Control of Pollution) Act, 1981, Environment (Protection) Act, 1986 and/or any other environmental law applicable to him and Rules, Circulars & Directions issued by the Board from time to time.</span></p>
