<p class="MsoNormal" style="margin-bottom: .0001pt; line-height: normal;"><span lang="EN-IN" style="font-size: 12.0pt; font-family: 'Tahoma','sans-serif'; background: white;">In compliance to the<span style="mso-spacerun: yes;"> </span>hearing decisions, EE, RO, SGR has reported that the industry has neither installed any furnace nor carrying out smelting process. Thus, the process of the industry not covered under first schedule of Factories Act, 1948 i.e. SAC clearance is not applicable to present process of this industry. Further, the industry has provided Alkli scrubber <span style="mso-spacerun: yes;"> </span>as APCD with its pickling section. But, the stack emission monitoring of the same has not been carried out by the RO. RO has recommended for short time CTO under Air Act subject to the condition that the industry shall get the monitoring of APCDs carried out from Board's Lab within one month.</span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal" style="margin-bottom: .0001pt; line-height: normal;"><span lang="EN-IN" style="font-size: 12.0pt; font-family: 'Tahoma','sans-serif'; background: white;">In view of facts mentioned above, if approved, CTO under Air Act, 1981 may be granted to the industry for six months subject to the following conditions:</span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal" style="margin-bottom: .0001pt; line-height: normal;"><span lang="EN-IN" style="font-size: 12.0pt; font-family: 'Tahoma','sans-serif'; background: white;"> </span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal" style="margin-bottom: .0001pt; line-height: normal;"><span lang="EN-IN" style="font-size: 12.0pt; font-family: 'Tahoma','sans-serif'; background: white;">1. The industry will operate & maintain its air pollution control device (APCD), regularly and efficiently, so as to achieve the stack emission standards, consistently as prescribed by the Board/ MoEF&CC as amended from time to time.</span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal" style="margin-bottom: .0001pt; line-height: normal;"><span lang="EN-IN" style="font-size: 12.0pt; font-family: 'Tahoma','sans-serif'; background: white;"> </span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal" style="margin-bottom: .0001pt; line-height: normal;"><span lang="EN-IN" style="font-size: 12.0pt; font-family: 'Tahoma','sans-serif'; background: white;">2. The industry shall not add any process, which covered in the ambit of first schedule of Factories Act, 1948.</span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal" style="margin-bottom: .0001pt; line-height: normal;"><span lang="EN-IN" style="font-size: 12.0pt; font-family: 'Tahoma','sans-serif'; background: white;"> </span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal" style="margin-bottom: .0001pt; line-height: normal;"><span lang="EN-IN" style="font-size: 12.0pt; font-family: 'Tahoma','sans-serif'; background: white;">3. The industry shall get the stack emission monitoring from Board within 15 days.</span></p>
