<p style="text-align: justify;">The agenda note and report / recommendations of AEE/EE, RO, may kindly be perused.</p>
<p style="text-align: justify;">The hotel is a small scale orange category unit and was granted consent to operate under Water Act, 1974 and Air Act, 1981, both valid upto 30.09.2022 to operate a hotel having 19 rooms, Restaurant for gathering of 20 persons and 3 nos. banquet halls for the gathering of 125 persons, 70 persons & 50 persons, respectively for the disposal of only domestic effluent @ 9.5 KLD into sewer after treatment in STP.</p>
<p style="text-align: justify;">Now the hotel was applied for renewal of consent to operate under Water Act, 1974 and Air Act, 1981. The hotel has deposited consents fee, which is adequate upto 30.09.2024 under both Acts.</p>
<p style="text-align: justify;">The hotel was visited by AEE of RO on 09.09.2022 and it was observed as under:-</p>
<p style="text-align: justify;"><!-- [if !supportLists]-->1. <!--[endif]-->The hotel was in operation and it has provided 03 banquet halls, restaurant and 19 rooms and kitchen inside the premises.</p>
<p style="text-align: justify;"><!-- [if !supportLists]-->2. <!--[endif]-->The hotel has constructed 03 banquet halls for gathering of 50, 70 and 125 persons for function.</p>
<p style="text-align: justify;"><!-- [if !supportLists]-->3. <!--[endif]-->The hotel has installed 01 no. DG set of capacity 125 KVA, which fitted with canopy and is having adequate stack height.</p>
<p style="text-align: justify;"><!-- [if !supportLists]-->4. <!--[endif]-->The hotel has installed STP for the treatment of effluent generated from the premises. The treated effluent is being discharged into sewer but during the visit no function was going on in the banquets halls of the hotel hence, no effluent was being discharged.</p>
<p style="text-align: justify;"><!-- [if !supportLists]-->5. <!--[endif]-->The STP consists of the components Inlet à O&G traps à collection tank à Aeration à tube settler à pre-filtration tank à filter à outlet.</p>
<p style="text-align: justify;"><!-- [if !supportLists]-->6. <!--[endif]-->The hotel has already submitted the feasibility report of STP of capacity 10 KLD.</p>
<p style="text-align: justify;"><!-- [if !supportLists]-->7. <!--[endif]-->The hotel had already submitted the copy of GST registration certificate as a proof regarding the date of commissioning.</p>
<p style="text-align: justify;"><!-- [if !supportLists]-->8. <!--[endif]-->The hotel had already submitted the copy of letter from the ATP, Municipal Corporation, Ludhiana vide no. 4290/ATPO dated 15.07.2019 stating that the total compounding fee of the site i.e. Rs. 18,53,458/- has been received.</p>
<p style="text-align: justify;">In view of above, it is recommended that consent to operate under Water (Prevention & Control of Pollution) Act, 1974 and Air (Prevention & Control of Pollution) Act, 1981 may be granted to the hotel upto 30.09.2023 with the suitable conditions and special conditions that:-</p>
<p style="text-align: justify;"><!-- [if !supportLists]-->1. <!--[endif]-->The hotel cum banquet hall shall comply with the Noise Rules, 2000 and shall not operate the D.J. set beyond 10.00 P.M. and shall ensure that there is no kind of any nuisance/ noise pollution with the operation of hotel cum banquet hall.</p>
<p style="text-align: justify;"><!-- [if !supportLists]-->2. <!--[endif]-->The hotel shall submit the approved building plan from the Competent Authority within 03 months.</p>
<p style="text-align: justify;"><!-- [if !supportLists]-->3. <!--[endif]-->The hotel shall be bound to abide by the provisions of Master Plan, Ludhiana.</p>
