<p class="MsoNormal" style="text-align: justify;"><span style="color: black; mso-themecolor: text1;">The industry was granted consent to establish (NOC) of the Board under the provisions of Water Act, 1974 & Air Act, 1981 vide no. CTE/Fresh/BTI/2019/10314390 dated 20.08.2019 for <a name="_Hlk69908854"></a>the production of Tablets/Bolus @ 250000 Numbers/Day, Injection @ 20000 Numbers/Day and Ampules @70000Numbers/Day, valid upto 19.08.2020, with suitable conditions alongwith following special conditions that the industry will not clean vials, Rubber bung & aluminium fitting with D.M water without prior permission of the Board.</span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal" style="text-align: justify;"><span style="color: black; mso-themecolor: text1;">Now, the industry has applied for fresh consent to operate under the Water Act, 1974 & Air Act, 1981 through online on OCMMS for the production of Tablets/Bolus @ 250000 Numbers/Day, Injection @ 20000 Numbers/Day and Ampules @70000Numbers/Day, with requisite documents.</span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal" style="text-align: justify;"><span style="color: black; mso-themecolor: text1;">The industry has deposited the consent fee of Rs. 42,000/- through online vide R.no. SAA88543606 dated 18.08.2022 under the Water Act, 1974 & Rs. 42,000/- through online vide R.no. SAA88543720 dated 18.08.2022 under the Air Act, 1981, against the fixed assets of Rs. 145.69 lacs as per CA certificate, which is adequate upto 30.09.2026.</span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal" style="text-align: justify;"><span style="color: black; mso-themecolor: text1;">To verify the contents of the application the industry was visited by AEE of this office on 26.09.2022, where Sh. Romi Bansal (9815086473), Director of the industry was present and it was observed as under-</span></p>
<p class="MsoListParagraphCxSpFirst" style="text-align: justify; text-indent: -18.0pt; mso-list: l0 level1 lfo1;"><!-- [if !supportLists]--><span style="mso-bidi-font-family: Calibri; mso-bidi-theme-font: minor-latin; color: black; mso-themecolor: text1;"><span style="mso-list: Ignore;">1.<span style="font: 7.0pt 'Times New Roman';"> </span></span></span><!--[endif]--><span style="color: black; mso-themecolor: text1;">The industry was in operation for the production of veterinary bolus (tables), injections, impulses.</span></p>
<p class="MsoListParagraphCxSpMiddle" style="text-align: justify; text-indent: -18.0pt; mso-list: l0 level1 lfo1;"><!-- [if !supportLists]--><span style="mso-bidi-font-family: Calibri; mso-bidi-theme-font: minor-latin; color: black; mso-themecolor: text1;"><span style="mso-list: Ignore;">2.<span style="font: 7.0pt 'Times New Roman';"> </span></span></span><!--[endif]--><span style="color: black; mso-themecolor: text1;">The industry is generating trade effluent from washing of utensils for mixing, vials during production of bolus and injections.</span></p>
<p class="MsoListParagraphCxSpMiddle" style="text-align: justify; text-indent: -18.0pt; mso-list: l0 level1 lfo1;"><!-- [if !supportLists]--><span style="mso-bidi-font-family: Calibri; mso-bidi-theme-font: minor-latin; color: black; mso-themecolor: text1;"><span style="mso-list: Ignore;">3.<span style="font: 7.0pt 'Times New Roman';"> </span></span></span><!--[endif]--><span style="color: black; mso-themecolor: text1;">The industry has failed to provide the treatment for this trade effluent and directly discharging it into PSIEC sewer.</span></p>
<p class="MsoListParagraphCxSpMiddle" style="text-align: justify; text-indent: -18.0pt; mso-list: l0 level1 lfo1;"><!-- [if !supportLists]--><span style="mso-bidi-font-family: Calibri; mso-bidi-theme-font: minor-latin; color: black; mso-themecolor: text1;"><span style="mso-list: Ignore;">4.<span style="font: 7.0pt 'Times New Roman';"> </span></span></span><!--[endif]--><span style="color: black; mso-themecolor: text1;">The industry has provided 2 no. solar evaporation ponds, not of adequate size and are also not in use for the treatment of effluent generated from the lab section.</span></p>
<p class="MsoListParagraphCxSpMiddle" style="text-align: justify; text-indent: -18.0pt; mso-list: l0 level1 lfo1;"><!-- [if !supportLists]--><span style="mso-bidi-font-family: Calibri; mso-bidi-theme-font: minor-latin; color: black; mso-themecolor: text1;"><span style="mso-list: Ignore;">5.<span style="font: 7.0pt 'Times New Roman';"> </span></span></span><!--[endif]--><span style="color: black; mso-themecolor: text1;">Lot of waste is generated such as glass bottles, empty impulses etc, which is being lifted by kabadiwala as per informed by the representative of the industry.</span></p>
<p class="MsoListParagraphCxSpMiddle" style="text-align: justify; text-indent: -18.0pt; mso-list: l0 level1 lfo1;"><!-- [if !supportLists]--><span style="mso-bidi-font-family: Calibri; mso-bidi-theme-font: minor-latin; color: black; mso-themecolor: text1;"><span style="mso-list: Ignore;">6.<span style="font: 7.0pt 'Times New Roman';"> </span></span></span><!--[endif]--><span style="color: black; mso-themecolor: text1;">Manual feeding of raw material in various utensils / mixtures leads to the air pollution, hence, industry needs to submit of detail feasibility report and to install suitable APCD for the control of air pollution.</span></p>
<p class="MsoListParagraphCxSpMiddle" style="text-align: justify; text-indent: -18.0pt; mso-list: l0 level1 lfo1;"><!-- [if !supportLists]--><span style="mso-bidi-font-family: Calibri; mso-bidi-theme-font: minor-latin; color: black; mso-themecolor: text1;"><span style="mso-list: Ignore;">7.<span style="font: 7.0pt 'Times New Roman';"> </span></span></span><!--[endif]--><span style="color: black; mso-themecolor: text1;">The domestic effluent is directly discharged in PSIEC sewer.</span></p>
<p class="MsoListParagraphCxSpLast" style="text-align: justify; text-indent: -18.0pt; mso-list: l0 level1 lfo1;"><!-- [if !supportLists]--><span style="mso-bidi-font-family: Calibri; mso-bidi-theme-font: minor-latin; color: black; mso-themecolor: text1;"><span style="mso-list: Ignore;">8.<span style="font: 7.0pt 'Times New Roman';"> </span></span></span><!--[endif]--><span style="color: black; mso-themecolor: text1;">The industry has not installed any DG set in its premises.</span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal" style="text-align: justify;"><span style="color: black; mso-themecolor: text1;">From above it is clear that the industry is not complying with the provisions of the Water Act, 1974 & Air Act, 1981 as well as not complying with the conditions of the NOC granted to it.</span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal" style="text-align: justify;"><span style="color: black; mso-themecolor: text1;">Keeping in view of above it is recommended that consent to operate under the Water Act, 1974 & Air Act, 1981 may be refused.</span></p>
