<p class="TableParagraph" style="margin-right: .45pt; text-align: justify; text-indent: 35.0pt;"><span style="font-family: 'Tahoma','sans-serif';">The industry was earlier granted 'Consent to Operate’ under Water (Prevention & Control of Pollution) Act, 1974 and Air (Prevention & Control of Pollution) Act, 1981 vide no.</span> <span style="font-family: 'Tahoma','sans-serif';">CTOW/Renewal/LDH1/2022/16790732 dated 11.04.2022 valid upto 10.10.2022 & CTOA/Renewal/LDH1/2021/15535210 dated 28.05.2021 valid upto 30.06.2022 with suitable terms and condition mentioned therein.</span></p>
<p class="TableParagraph" style="margin-right: .45pt; text-align: justify; text-indent: 35.0pt;"><span style="font-family: 'Tahoma','sans-serif';">It is pertinent to mention here that during earlier visit to the industry on 11.03.2022 effluent samples of ETP were collected by RO and as per results, pH is 7.6, TSS= 15 mg/l, TDS 769 mg/l, COD=72mg/l, BOD=14mg/l, Oil & Grease=BDL, Chromium =BDL, Sulphide= BDL, Phenolic Compound =BDL, ammonical Nitrogen 8.8 mg/l & SAR = 7.2, which were within limits prescribed by Board. However, the industry neither submitted the proposal to install the ZLD system nor any proposal to shift into the CETP compactible area till date.</span></p>
<p class="TableParagraph" style="margin-right: .45pt; text-align: justify; text-indent: 35.0pt;"><span style="font-family: 'Tahoma','sans-serif';">Accordingly consent to operate under Water Act, 1974 was granted to the industry for six months with usual conditions and special condition that the industry shall either submit the proposal to install the ZLD system or submit the proposal to shift into the CETP compactible area, within 03 months and the industry shall submit the bank guarantee of Rs. 1.00 lac as already decided in the hearing dated 03.01.2022, within 03 months. </span></p>
<p class="TableParagraph" style="margin-right: .45pt; text-align: justify; text-indent: 35.0pt;"><span style="font-family: 'Tahoma','sans-serif';">Now the industry has again applied for renewal of consent to operate under Water (Prevention & Control of Pollution) Act, 1974 and Air (Prevention & Control of Pollution) Act, 1981. The fee already deposited by the industry under Water (Prevention & Control of Pollution) Act, 1974 is adequate upto 30.06.2025 and under Air (Prevention & Control of Pollution) Act, 1981 adequate upto 31.12.2022. The representative of the industry was requested repeatedly to deposit bank guarantee amounting Rs. 1.00 lac but the industry submitted a representation mentioning that their financial condition is very bad and they are unable to deposit the same. </span></p>
<p class="TableParagraph" style="margin-right: .45pt; text-align: justify; text-indent: 35.0pt;"><span style="font-family: 'Tahoma','sans-serif';">The industry was visited by the officer of this office on 27.09.2022 & it was observed that:-</span></p>
<p class="TableParagraph" style="text-align: justify; text-indent: -.25in; mso-list: l0 level1 lfo1; tab-stops: 44.9pt; margin: 0in .45pt .0001pt 23.5pt;"><!-- [if !supportLists]--><span style="font-family: 'Tahoma','sans-serif'; mso-fareast-font-family: Tahoma;">1.<span style="font-variant-numeric: normal; font-variant-east-asian: normal; font-stretch: normal; font-size: 7pt; line-height: normal; font-family: 'Times New Roman';"> </span></span><!--[endif]--><span style="font-family: 'Tahoma','sans-serif';">The industry has installed one boiler of capacity 4 TPH along with cyclone and alkali scrubber adequate stack height. </span></p>
<p class="TableParagraph" style="text-align: justify; text-indent: -.25in; mso-list: l0 level1 lfo1; tab-stops: 44.9pt; margin: 0in .45pt .0001pt 23.5pt;"><!-- [if !supportLists]--><span style="font-family: 'Tahoma','sans-serif'; mso-fareast-font-family: Tahoma;">2.<span style="font-variant-numeric: normal; font-variant-east-asian: normal; font-stretch: normal; font-size: 7pt; line-height: normal; font-family: 'Times New Roman';"> </span></span><!--[endif]--><span style="font-family: 'Tahoma','sans-serif';">Air emission sample were lastly collected on 13.08.2020 and the industry was found complying. The particular matters are within the limit. </span></p>
<p class="TableParagraph" style="text-align: justify; text-indent: -.25in; mso-list: l0 level1 lfo1; tab-stops: 44.9pt; margin: 0in .45pt .0001pt 23.5pt;"><!-- [if !supportLists]--><span style="font-family: 'Tahoma','sans-serif'; mso-fareast-font-family: Tahoma;">3.<span style="font-variant-numeric: normal; font-variant-east-asian: normal; font-stretch: normal; font-size: 7pt; line-height: normal; font-family: 'Times New Roman';"> </span></span><!--[endif]--><span style="font-family: 'Tahoma','sans-serif';">As previous results dated 11.03.2022, the effluent parameters are complying with discharged standards. </span></p>
<p class="TableParagraph" style="text-align: justify; text-indent: -.25in; mso-list: l0 level1 lfo1; tab-stops: 44.9pt; margin: 0in .45pt .0001pt 23.5pt;"><!-- [if !supportLists]--><span style="font-family: 'Tahoma','sans-serif'; mso-fareast-font-family: Tahoma;">4.<span style="font-variant-numeric: normal; font-variant-east-asian: normal; font-stretch: normal; font-size: 7pt; line-height: normal; font-family: 'Times New Roman';"> </span></span><!--[endif]--><span style="font-family: 'Tahoma','sans-serif';">Further, during the visit the stack emission sample along with effluent samples were collected by the officer of this office on 27.09.2022 and results are awaited.</span></p>

The industry neither submitted the proposal to shift its unit to CETP compatible area nor submitted ZLD proposal. </span></p>
