<p style="text-align: justify;">The agenda note and report / recommendations of AEE/EE, RO, may kindly be perused.</p>
<p style="text-align: justify;">The industry is small scale dyeing unit and was granted consent to operate under Water Act, 1974 & the Air Act, 1981, both valid upto 30/06/2020 for production of dyeing of polyester fabrics @ 2000 Kg/day and discharge of trade effluent @ 200 KLD into sewer after treatment through ETP and domestic effluent @ 03 KLD into sewer.</p>
<p style="text-align: justify;"> Thereafter, the industry had again applied for varied consent to operate under the Water Act, 1974 & the Air Act, 1981 on 30.05.2022 & 11.07.2022 with inadequate consent fees, which were returned to the industry due to incompletions.</p>
<p style="text-align: justify;"> Further, as per the decisions of the Competent Authority 50% dyeing machinery of the industry was sealed due to stagnation and over discharge into CETP.</p>
<p style="text-align: justify;"> Now, the industry has applied for varied consent to operate under the Water (Prevention & Control of Pollution) Act, 1974 for Dyeing of polyester fabrics @ 6.25 MTD day and discharge of trade effluent @ 375 KLD into sewer/ CETP and domestic effluent @ 03 KLD into sewer/ CETP. The industry has deposited consents fee, which are adequate upto 31.05.2024 under both acts.</p>
<p style="text-align: justify;"> The industry was visited by the AEE of RO on 06.08.2022 and observed that:</p>
<p style="text-align: justify;"><!-- [if !supportLists]-->1. <!--[endif]-->The industry was in operation, during visit.</p>
<p style="text-align: justify;"><!-- [if !supportLists]-->2. <!--[endif]-->The dyeing machines earlier sealed by the Board were found sealed.</p>
<p style="text-align: justify;"><!-- [if !supportLists]-->3. <!--[endif]-->The industry has now joined CETP for discharging its trade & domestic effluent. Flow meter was lying at site and was under installation.</p>
<p style="text-align: justify;"><!-- [if !supportLists]-->4. <!--[endif]-->The industry has installed one boiler of capacity 3 TPH with cyclone separator as APCD. The industry was using agro waste fuel in the boiler & light white color emissions were discharged. There are several cracks on the stack which required, repair.</p>
<p style="text-align: justify;"><!-- [if !supportLists]-->5. <!--[endif]-->The industry has installed one DG set of capacity 100 KVA, which is equipped with canopy.</p>
<p style="text-align: justify;"><!-- [if !supportLists]-->6. <!--[endif]-->The industry has submitted new Bank guarantee bearing no. 16681IGL0000222 of Rs. 25000/-, which is valid upto 30.04.2023.</p>
<p style="text-align: justify;"> Keeping in view of above, it is recommended that varied consent to operate under the Air (Prevention & Control of Pollution) Act, 1981 may be granted to the industry for one year with usual conditions and special conditions that it will not generate any black smoke, will got analyzed its emission sample from the Board time to time and will got repair its stack within 15 days, positively.</p>
