<p class="MsoNormal" style="margin-top: .05pt; text-align: justify;"><strong><span lang="EN-US" style="font-family: 'Bookman Old Style','serif'; mso-fareast-font-family: Cambria; mso-bidi-font-family: Tahoma; color: #222222; mso-fareast-language: EN-IN;">The industry has total value of fixed assets amounting Rs. 294.78 lacs with plant and machinery cost as Rs. 238.04 lacs, as on 31/03/2022 CA Certificate dated 06/07/2022. And it has applied under small scale green category i.e. competency of Environmental Engineer.</span></strong></p>
<p class="MsoNormal" style="text-align: justify; text-indent: 1.0in; line-height: 115%; margin: 12.0pt -.9pt 12.0pt 0in;"><span lang="EN-US" style="font-family: 'Bookman Old Style','serif'; mso-bidi-font-family: Raavi;">The Competent Authority of the Board vide letter no. 2503 dated 01/09/2022 after considering the matter, has decided as under:-</span></p>
<p class="MsoListParagraph" style="text-indent: -.25in; line-height: 115%; mso-list: l0 level1 lfo1; margin: 12.0pt -.9pt .0001pt 27.0pt;"><!-- [if !supportLists]--><span lang="EN-US" style="font-family: 'Bookman Old Style','serif'; mso-fareast-font-family: 'Bookman Old Style'; mso-bidi-font-family: 'Bookman Old Style';"><span style="mso-list: Ignore;">a.<span style="font: 7.0pt 'Times New Roman';"> </span></span></span><!--[endif]--><span lang="EN-US" style="font-family: 'Bookman Old Style','serif'; mso-bidi-font-family: Raavi;">While granting renewal/extension of 'consent to operate' under the Water (Prevention & Control of Pollution) Act, 1974 and the Air (Prevention & Control of Pollution) Act, 1981, a special condition may be imposed that the industry shall be bound to apply online for grant of Terms of Reference (TOR) followed by Environment Clearance from the competent authorities, within one year from the date of issue of this notification i.e. well before 19.7.2023.</span></p>
<p class="MsoListParagraph" style="text-indent: -.25in; line-height: 115%; mso-list: l0 level1 lfo1; margin: 0in -.9pt 12.0pt 27.0pt;"><!-- [if !supportLists]--><span lang="EN-US" style="font-family: 'Bookman Old Style','serif'; mso-fareast-font-family: 'Bookman Old Style'; mso-bidi-font-family: 'Bookman Old Style';"><span style="mso-list: Ignore;">b.<span style="font: 7.0pt 'Times New Roman';"> </span></span></span><!--[endif]--><span lang="EN-US" style="font-family: 'Bookman Old Style','serif'; mso-bidi-font-family: Raavi;">Environmental Engineer, Regional Office, Fatehgarh Sahib/ SGR be directed to convey the aforesaid notification to all the re-rolling/cold rolling units to apply online for grant of Terms of Reference (ToR) followed by Environment Clearance and submit compliance at Regional Office.</span></p>
