<p class="MsoListParagraph" style="text-align: justify; line-height: 150%; margin: 0in 0in 6.0pt -.7pt;"><span style="font-family: 'Tahoma','sans-serif';">It is submitted that the industry was granted consent to operate under Water (Prevention & Control of Pollution) Act, 1974 vide no. ZO/PTA/WPC/2007-08/F-85 dated 24/04/2007 and under Air (Prevention & Control of Pollution) Act, 1981 vide no. ZO/PTA/APC/2007-08/F-86 dated 24/04/2007, both are valid upto 23/04/2013 for manufacturing of Agricultural Implements & Auto parts @ 4.80 T/day by using CI / MS Scrap @ 5.0 MTD as raw material with conditions mentioned therein. <span style="mso-spacerun: yes;"> </span></span></p>
<p class="MsoListParagraph" style="text-align: justify; line-height: 150%; margin: 0in 0in 6.0pt -.7pt;"><span style="font-family: 'Tahoma','sans-serif';">Now, the industry has applied for renewal of consent to operate under Water (Prevention & Control of Pollution) Act, 1974 and Air (Prevention & Control of Pollution) Act, 1981 under red category as per prevailing policy of the Board. </span></p>
<p class="MsoListParagraph" style="text-align: justify; line-height: 150%; margin: 0in 0in 6.0pt -.7pt;"><span style="font-family: 'Tahoma','sans-serif';">The industry has deposited Rs. 141900/- vide R. No. 696686306 dated 28.09.2022 under Water (Prevention & Control of Pollution) Act, 1974 and Rs. 141900/- vide R. No. 270239950 dated 28.09.2022 under Air (Prevention & Control of Pollution) Act, 1981. The consent fee deposited by the industry is adequate upto 30.09.2025 against the fixed assets of Rs. 110.37 lacs as on 31.03.2022 as per CA certificate submitted by it. The industry has deposited Rs. 2900/- Vide R.No. 696686306 dated 28.09.2022. The industry has also submitted compliance Report, CA certificate, Analysis Report etc. </span></p>
<p class="MsoListParagraph" style="text-align: justify; line-height: 150%; margin: 0in 0in 6.0pt -.7pt;"><span style="font-family: 'Tahoma','sans-serif';">The industry was visited by undersigned on 3.10.2022<span style="mso-spacerun: yes;"> </span>& it was observed as under-</span></p>
<p class="MsoListParagraph" style="text-align: justify; line-height: 150%; margin: 0in 0in 6.0pt -.7pt;"><span style="font-family: 'Tahoma','sans-serif';">1. The industry was in operation during visit.</span></p>
<p class="MsoListParagraph" style="text-align: justify; line-height: 150%; margin: 0in 0in 6.0pt -.7pt;"><span style="font-family: 'Tahoma','sans-serif';">2. The industry has installed induction furnace of capacity 300 Kg/Heat equipped with wet scrubber as APCD equipped with canopy & stack of adequate height.</span></p>
<p class="MsoListParagraph" style="text-align: justify; line-height: 150%; margin: 0in 0in 6.0pt -.7pt;"><span style="font-family: 'Tahoma','sans-serif';">3.<span style="mso-spacerun: yes;"> </span>The industry has also submitted stack emissions sampling reports and analyzed by NABL Accredited Lab (Imarat Engineering Lab) on 15.09.2022. As per the report, the concentration of particulate matter is 10.5 mg/Nm3, which are within the permissible limits as prescribed by the Board. </span></p>
<p class="MsoListParagraph" style="text-align: justify; line-height: 150%; margin: 0in 0in 6.0pt -.7pt;"><span style="font-family: 'Tahoma','sans-serif';">4.<span style="mso-spacerun: yes;"> </span>The industry is not generating any trade effluent. Domestic effluent is being discharged onto land for plantation after passing through septic tank.</span></p>
<p class="MsoListParagraph" style="text-align: justify; line-height: 150%; margin: 0in 0in 6.0pt -.7pt;"><span style="font-family: 'Tahoma','sans-serif';">5. The entire cooling water is being recirculated.</span></p>
<p class="MsoListParagraph" style="text-align: justify; line-height: 150%; mso-layout-grid-align: none; text-autospace: none; margin: 0in 0in 6.0pt .65pt;"><span style="font-family: 'Tahoma','sans-serif';"><span style="mso-spacerun: yes;"> </span>From above, it was observed that the industry is complying with the conditions of the consents granted under the Water Act, 1974 and the Air Act, 1981. </span></p>
<p class="MsoListParagraph" style="text-align: justify; line-height: 150%; mso-layout-grid-align: none; text-autospace: none; margin: 0in 0in 6.0pt .65pt;"><span style="font-family: 'Tahoma','sans-serif';">In view of above, recommendation may be sent to SEE, ZP-1 for renewal of consent to operate under Water (Prevention & Control of Pollution) Act, 1974 and Air (Prevention & Control of Pollution) Act, 1981 may be granted to the industry upto 30.09.2025 under orange category with suitable conditions as per policy of the Board.</span></p> |
