<p class="MsoNormal" style="margin-bottom: 0.0001pt; text-align: justify; line-height: normal;"><span lang="EN-US" style="font-size: 12pt; font-family: Tahoma, 'sans-serif';">Kindly find attached the detailed inspection report along with agenda note. Further observations are as under:-</span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal" style="margin-bottom: 0.0001pt; text-align: justify; line-height: normal;"><span lang="EN-US" style="font-size: 12pt; font-family: Tahoma, 'sans-serif';"> Earlier, the hospital was granted consent to operate under Air (Prevention & Control<span style="color: red;"> </span>of Pollution) Act, 1981 vide no. </span><span lang="EN-US" style="font-size: 12pt; font-family: Tahoma, 'sans-serif';">CTOA/Fresh/ASR/2018/7046819 dated 15/02/2018 and under Water (Prevention & Control of Pollution) Act, 1974 vide no. CTOW/Fresh/ASR/2018/7065266 dated 15/02/2018 which are valid up to dated 30/09/2022 (for 50 Beds and effluent @ 20 KLD).</span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal" style="margin-bottom: 0.0001pt; text-align: justify; line-height: normal;"><span lang="EN-US" style="font-size: 12pt; font-family: Tahoma, 'sans-serif';"> Now, the hospital has applied for consent to operate under Air (Prevention & Control of Pollution) Act, 1981 & Water (Prevention & Control of Pollution) Act, 1974 (for 100 beds and effluent @ 43 KLD) along with compliance of the previous granted consents, bed capacity certificate, annual report, annexure, revised agreement & request letter etc.</span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal" style="margin-bottom: 0.0001pt; text-align: justify; line-height: normal;"><span lang="EN-US" style="font-size: 12pt; font-family: Tahoma, 'sans-serif';"> It is further intimated that the hospital is complying with the conditions of consents granted earlier under Water Act, 1974 and Air Act, 1981. The hospital is having bed capacity @ 100 beds and competency to decide the case lies with Senior Environmental Engineer of the Board.</span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal" style="margin-bottom: 0.0001pt; text-align: justify; line-height: normal;"><span lang="EN-US" style="font-size: 12pt; font-family: Tahoma, 'sans-serif';"> It is pertinent to mention here that Board issued order vide no. CEE(HQ) F.No. 957/2016/59 dated 2/2/2016 regarding to grant of auto renewal consent to establish/consent to operate to the Orange & Green category industries.</span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal" style="margin-bottom: 0.0001pt; text-align: justify; line-height: normal;"><span lang="EN-US" style="font-size: 12pt; font-family: Tahoma, 'sans-serif';"> Keeping in view of above, it is recommended that the consent to operate under Water (Prevention & Control of Pollution) Act, 1974 and Air (Prevention & Control of Pollution) Act, 1981 may be granted to the hospital up to 30/09/2027 with suitable terms & conditions along with special conditions that:-</span></p>
<p class="MsoListParagraph" style="margin-left: 0.75in; text-align: justify; text-indent: -0.25in;"><span style="font-size: 12pt; font-family: Tahoma, 'sans-serif';">1.<span style="font-variant-numeric: normal; font-variant-east-asian: normal; font-stretch: normal; font-size: 7pt; line-height: normal; font-family: 'Times New Roman';"> </span></span><span style="font-size: 12pt; font-family: Tahoma, 'sans-serif';">The hospital will get effluent sample (combined liquid and domestic effluent) analyzed from an approved lab of the Board within 02 months.</span></p>
<p class="MsoListParagraph" style="margin-left: 0.75in; text-align: justify; text-indent: -0.25in;"><span style="font-size: 12pt; font-family: Tahoma, 'sans-serif';">2.<span style="font-variant-numeric: normal; font-variant-east-asian: normal; font-stretch: normal; font-size: 7pt; line-height: normal; font-family: 'Times New Roman';"> </span></span><span style="font-size: 12pt; font-family: Tahoma, 'sans-serif';">The hospital will renew its agreement time to time made with Common Bio Medical Waste Treatment Facility well before its expiry and submit the copy of same in this office.</span></p>
<p class="MsoListParagraph" style="margin-left: 0.75in; text-align: justify; text-indent: -0.25in;"><span style="font-size: 12pt; font-family: Tahoma, 'sans-serif';">3.<span style="font-variant-numeric: normal; font-variant-east-asian: normal; font-stretch: normal; font-size: 7pt; line-height: normal; font-family: 'Times New Roman';"> </span></span><span style="font-size: 12pt; font-family: Tahoma, 'sans-serif';">The HCF shall comply vide Head Office, no. 468 dated 31/08/2021 issued by Punjab Pollution Control Board.</span></p> |
