<p class="MsoNormal" style="text-align: justify; text-indent: 63.0pt; line-height: 150%;"><span style="font-family: 'Bookman Old Style','serif';">It is submitted that the rice mill was granted consents to operate under the Water Act, 1974 and Air Act, 1981 vide nos. CTOW/Fresh/MOG/2018/7480736 and CTOA/Fresh/MOG/2018/7480439 dt. 01.05.2018 for manufacturing of raw rice with dryer @ 2 TPH along with sorted rice @ 2 TPH, valid upto 30.09.2022, subject to the conditions mentioned therein. </span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal" style="text-align: justify; text-indent: 63.0pt; line-height: 150%;"><span style="font-family: 'Bookman Old Style','serif';">Now, the industry has applied for obtaining renewal of consents under the Water Act, 1974 and Air Act, 1981 through OCMMS with same capacity on the name of Sh. Rajinder Kumar (Partner). Details of the case are as under:</span></p>
<p class="MsoListParagraphCxSpFirst" style="text-align: justify; text-indent: -.25in; line-height: 150%; mso-list: l0 level1 lfo1;"><!-- [if !supportLists]--><span style="font-family: 'Bookman Old Style','serif'; mso-fareast-font-family: 'Bookman Old Style'; mso-bidi-font-family: 'Bookman Old Style';"><span style="mso-list: Ignore;">1.<span style="font: 7.0pt 'Times New Roman';"> </span></span></span><!--[endif]--><span style="font-family: 'Bookman Old Style','serif';">The industry has submitted CA certificate regarding its gross fixed assets of Rs. 83.47 lacs as on 31.03.2022. Accordingly, the industry has deposited consent fee of Rs. 42000/- vide R. NO. </span><span style="font-size: 10.0pt; mso-bidi-font-size: 13.0pt; line-height: 150%; font-family: 'Verdana','sans-serif'; mso-fareast-font-family: 'Times New Roman'; mso-bidi-font-family: 'Times New Roman';">SDL111911389 </span><span style="font-family: 'Bookman Old Style','serif';">dated 31.08.2022 under the Water Act, 1974 & Rs. 42000/- vide R. NO. </span><span style="font-size: 10.0pt; mso-bidi-font-size: 13.0pt; line-height: 150%; font-family: 'Verdana','sans-serif'; mso-fareast-font-family: 'Times New Roman'; mso-bidi-font-family: 'Times New Roman';">SDL111826347 dated 31.08</span><span style="font-family: 'Bookman Old Style','serif';">.2022 under the Air Act, 1981, which are adequate upto 31.03.2029 under both Acts.</span></p>
<p class="MsoListParagraphCxSpLast" style="text-align: justify; text-indent: -.25in; line-height: 150%; mso-list: l0 level1 lfo1;"><!-- [if !supportLists]--><span style="font-family: 'Bookman Old Style','serif'; mso-fareast-font-family: 'Bookman Old Style'; mso-bidi-font-family: 'Bookman Old Style';"><span style="mso-list: Ignore;">2.<span style="font: 7.0pt 'Times New Roman';"> </span></span></span><!--[endif]--><span style="font-family: 'Bookman Old Style','serif';">The industry has submitted compliance report of conditions imposed in previous consents under the Water Act, 1974 & the Air Act, 1981. </span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal" style="text-align: justify; text-indent: 63.0pt; line-height: 150%;"><span style="font-family: 'Bookman Old Style','serif';">Punjab Pollution Control Board in order to facilitate the industries vide office order no. 59 dt. 02.02.2016 has decided that renewal of consents to operate under the Water Act, 1974 and Air Act, 1981 will be granted to the industries (Orange/Green Category- Small Scale) without visiting the unit within 7 days.</span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal" style="text-align: justify; text-indent: 63.0pt; line-height: 150%;"><span style="font-family: 'Bookman Old Style','serif';">Further, it is intimated that the industry will be visited during tour to that area within two months to check the compliance under the provisions of the Water Act, 1974 and the Air Act, 1981 and report will be submitted accordingly. </span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal" style="text-align: justify; text-indent: 63.0pt; line-height: 150%;"><span style="font-family: 'Bookman Old Style','serif';">Keeping in view of the above may if approved:</span></p>
<p class="MsoListParagraphCxSpFirst" style="margin-left: 0in; mso-add-space: auto; text-align: justify; text-indent: 63.0pt; line-height: 150%;"><span style="font-family: 'Bookman Old Style','serif';">Renewal of consent to operate under the Water Act, 1974 and Air Act, 1981 may be granted to the industry upto 30.09.2027 for operation of the industry for manufacturing of raw rice with dryer @ 2 TPH along with sorted rice @ 2 TPH, subject to the suitable conditions and following specific condition: </span></p>
<p class="MsoListParagraphCxSpMiddle" style="text-align: justify; line-height: normal;"><span style="font-size: 5.0pt; font-family: 'Bookman Old Style','serif';"> </span></p>
<p class="MsoListParagraphCxSpMiddle" style="text-align: justify; text-indent: -.25in; line-height: normal; mso-list: l1 level1 lfo2;"><!-- [if !supportLists]--><span style="font-family: 'Bookman Old Style','serif'; mso-fareast-font-family: 'Bookman Old Style'; mso-bidi-font-family: 'Bookman Old Style';"><span style="mso-list: Ignore;">1.<span style="font: 7.0pt 'Times New Roman';"> </span></span></span><!--[endif]--><span style="font-family: 'Bookman Old Style','serif';">The industry shall ensure to comply with the provisions of the Water Act, 1974 and the Air Act, 1981 as well as with code of practice prescribed for rice sheller units by the State Govt. vide order dated 15.10.2013 and if found not complying during visit, the consents to operate under Water Act, 1974 and the Air Act, 1981 will be revoked without any further intimation.</span></p>
<p class="MsoListParagraphCxSpMiddle" style="text-align: justify; text-indent: -.25in; line-height: normal; mso-list: l1 level1 lfo2;"><!-- [if !supportLists]--><span style="font-family: 'Bookman Old Style','serif'; mso-fareast-font-family: 'Bookman Old Style'; mso-bidi-font-family: 'Bookman Old Style';"><span style="mso-list: Ignore;">2.<span style="font: 7.0pt 'Times New Roman';"> </span></span></span><!--[endif]--><span style="font-family: 'Bookman Old Style','serif';">The industry will always comply with the guidelines issued by Deptt. of Science Technology & Environment Govt. of Punjab vide Order No. 10/48/2004-STE (4)/932 dated 15.10.2013.</span></p>
<p class="MsoListParagraphCxSpMiddle" style="text-align: justify; text-indent: -.25in; line-height: normal; mso-list: l1 level1 lfo2;"><!-- [if !supportLists]--><span style="font-family: 'Bookman Old Style','serif'; mso-fareast-font-family: 'Bookman Old Style'; mso-bidi-font-family: 'Bookman Old Style';"><span style="mso-list: Ignore;">3.<span style="font: 7.0pt 'Times New Roman';"> </span></span></span><!--[endif]--><span style="font-family: 'Bookman Old Style','serif';">The industry shall submit analysis report of emission sample analyzed from the Board’s lab to this office within one month.</span></p>
<p class="MsoListParagraphCxSpMiddle" style="text-align: justify; text-indent: -.25in; line-height: normal; mso-list: l1 level1 lfo2;"><!-- [if !supportLists]--><span style="font-family: 'Bookman Old Style','serif'; mso-fareast-font-family: 'Bookman Old Style'; mso-bidi-font-family: 'Bookman Old Style';"><span style="mso-list: Ignore;">4.<span style="font: 7.0pt 'Times New Roman';"> </span></span></span><!--[endif]--><span style="font-family: 'Bookman Old Style','serif';">The industry is bound to upgrade / replace its existing APCD as and when asked by the Board.</span></p>
<p class="MsoListParagraphCxSpMiddle" style="text-align: justify; text-indent: -.25in; line-height: normal; mso-list: l1 level1 lfo2;"><!-- [if !supportLists]--><span style="font-family: 'Bookman Old Style','serif'; mso-fareast-font-family: 'Bookman Old Style'; mso-bidi-font-family: 'Bookman Old Style';"><span style="mso-list: Ignore;">5.<span style="font: 7.0pt 'Times New Roman';"> </span></span></span><!--[endif]--><span style="font-family: 'Bookman Old Style','serif';">In case the industry plans to install any DG set within its premises, it shall install acoustic enclosure on the same as per the guidelines prescribed by the Board.</span></p>
<p class="MsoListParagraphCxSpLast" style="text-align: justify; text-indent: -.25in; line-height: normal; mso-list: l1 level1 lfo2;"><!-- [if !supportLists]--><span style="font-family: 'Bookman Old Style','serif'; mso-fareast-font-family: 'Bookman Old Style'; mso-bidi-font-family: 'Bookman Old Style';"><span style="mso-list: Ignore;">6.<span style="font: 7.0pt 'Times New Roman';"> </span></span></span><!--[endif]--><span style="font-family: 'Bookman Old Style','serif';">The industry shall not increase its production capacity without the prior written pemission/NOC of the Board.</span></p> |
