<p class="MsoNormal" style="text-align: justify; text-indent: 63.0pt; line-height: 150%;"><span style="font-family: 'Bookman Old Style','serif';">It is submitted that the rice mill was granted consents to operate under the Water Act, 1974 and Air Act, 1981 vide nos. CTOW/Renewal/FDK/2018/7224980 and CTOA/Renewal/FDK/2018/7224965 dt. 27.03.2018 for manufacturing of raw rice with dryer @ 4 TPH along with sorted rice @ 4 TPH, valid upto 30.09.2022 on the name of Sh Charanjit Singh (partner), subject to the conditions mentioned therein. </span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal" style="text-align: justify; text-indent: 63.0pt; line-height: 150%;"><span style="font-family: 'Bookman Old Style','serif';">Now, the industry has applied for obtaining renewal of consents under the Water Act, 1974 and Air Act, 1981 through OCMMS with same capacity on the name of Sh. Ranjit Singh (partner). Details of the case are as under:</span></p>

Accordingly, the industry has deposited consent fee of Rs. 28000/- vide R. NO. </span><span style="font-size: 10.0pt; mso-bidi-font-size: 13.0pt; line-height: 150%; font-family: 'Verdana','sans-serif'; mso-fareast-font-family: 'Times New Roman'; mso-bidi-font-family: 'Times New Roman';">SDL114259079 </span><span style="font-family: 'Bookman Old Style','serif';">dated 06.10.2022 under the Water Act, 1974 & Rs. 28000/- vide UTR / Ref. no.</span><span style="font-size: 9.0pt; mso-bidi-font-size: 12.0pt; line-height: 150%; font-family: 'Verdana','sans-serif'; mso-fareast-font-family: 'Times New Roman'; mso-bidi-font-family: 'Times New Roman'; mso-bidi-language: PA;"> </span><span style="font-size: 10.0pt; mso-bidi-font-size: 13.0pt; line-height: 150%; font-family: 'Verdana','sans-serif'; mso-fareast-font-family: 'Times New Roman'; mso-bidi-font-family: 'Times New Roman';">SDL114259211 dated 06.10</span><span style="font-family: 'Bookman Old Style','serif';">.2022 under the Air Act, 1981, which are adequate upto 31.08.2027 under both Acts after imposition of penalty @ 10% of one year fee.</span></p>

<p class="MsoNormal" style="text-align: justify; text-indent: 63.0pt; line-height: 150%;"><span style="font-family: 'Bookman Old Style','serif';">Punjab Pollution Control Board in order to facilitate the industries vide office order no. 59 dt. 02.02.2016 has decided that renewal of consents to operate under the Water Act, 1974 and Air Act, 1981 will be granted to the industries (Orange/Green Category- Small Scale) without visiting the unit within 7 days.</span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal" style="text-align: justify; text-indent: 63.0pt; line-height: 150%;"><span style="font-family: 'Bookman Old Style','serif';">Further, it is intimated that the industry will be visited during tour to that area within two months to check the compliance under the provisions of the Water Act, 1974 and the Air Act, 1981 and report will be submitted accordingly. </span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal" style="text-align: justify; text-indent: 63.0pt; line-height: 150%;"><span style="font-family: 'Bookman Old Style','serif';">Keeping in view of the above may if approved:</span></p>
<p class="MsoListParagraphCxSpFirst" style="margin-left: 0in; mso-add-space: auto; text-align: justify; text-indent: 63.0pt; line-height: 150%;"><span style="font-family: 'Bookman Old Style','serif';">Renewal of consent to operate under the Water Act, 1974 and Air Act, 1981 may be granted to the industry upto 30.06.2027 for operation of the industry for manufacturing of raw rice with dryer @ 4 TPH along with sorted rice @ 4 TPH, subject to the suitable conditions and following specific condition:</span></p>

<p class="MsoListParagraphCxSpMiddle" style="text-align: justify; text-indent: -.25in; line-height: normal; mso-list: l2 level1 lfo2;"><!-- [if !supportLists]--><span style="font-family: 'Bookman Old Style','serif'; mso-fareast-font-family: 'Bookman Old Style'; mso-bidi-font-family: 'Bookman Old Style';"><span style="mso-list: Ignore;">1.<span style="font: 7.0pt 'Times New Roman';"> </span></span></span><!--[endif]--><span style="font-family: 'Bookman Old Style','serif';">The industry shall ensure to comply with the provisions of the Water Act, 1974 and the Air Act, 1981 as well as with code of practice prescribed for rice sheller units by the State Govt. vide order dated 15.10.2013 and if found not complying during visit, the consents to operate under Water Act, 1974 and the Air Act, 1981 will be revoked without any further intimation.</span></p>
