<p class="MsoNormal" style="text-align: justify; text-justify: inter-ideograph; text-indent: 1.0in; line-height: 150%;"><span style="font-size: 13.0pt; line-height: 150%; font-family: 'Tahoma','sans-serif';">It is submitted that the industry is a small scale Orange category unit and was granted consent to establish (NOC) under the Water Act, 1974 & the Air Act, 1981 from pollution angle vide no. CTE/Fresh/MOG/2021/16799660 dated 19.10.2021 for production of Dried Ferrous Sulphate @ 900 MT/year by using Ferrous Sulphate Hepta Hydrate @ 1500 MT/year, with validity upto 18.10.2022. </span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal" style="text-align: justify; text-justify: inter-ideograph; text-indent: 1.0in; line-height: 150%;"><span style="font-size: 13.0pt; line-height: 150%; font-family: 'Tahoma','sans-serif';">Now, the industry has applied for obtaining fresh consent to operate under the Water Act, 1974 & the Air Act, 1981 for same capacity. Detail of the case is as under:</span></p>

No. N259222122937938 dated 16.09.2022 under the Water Act, 1974 & Rs. 9000/- vide UTR / Ref. No. N259222122943581 dated 16.09.2022 the Air Act, 1981, which is adequate upto 30.09.2027 under both the Acts.</span></p>

<p class="MsoListParagraphCxSpLast" style="margin-left: .75in; mso-add-space: auto; text-align: justify; text-justify: inter-ideograph; text-indent: -.25in; line-height: 150%; mso-list: l0 level1 lfo1;"><!-- [if !supportLists]--><span style="font-size: 13.0pt; line-height: 150%; font-family: 'Tahoma','sans-serif'; mso-fareast-font-family: Tahoma;">4.<span style="font-variant-numeric: normal; font-variant-east-asian: normal; font-stretch: normal; font-size: 7pt; line-height: normal; font-family: 'Times New Roman';"> </span></span><!--[endif]--><span style="font-size: 13.0pt; line-height: 150%; font-family: 'Tahoma','sans-serif';">The industry has submitted copy of process flow chart: FERROUS SULPHATE HEPTAHYDRATE > SPIN FLASH DRYER > PACKING > READY FOR SALE.</span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal" style="text-align: justify; text-justify: inter-ideograph; text-indent: 1.0in; line-height: 150%;"><span style="font-size: 13.0pt; line-height: 150%; font-family: 'Tahoma','sans-serif';">The site of the industry was visited by undersigned on 07.10.2021 and it was observed as under:- </span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal" style="text-align: justify; text-justify: inter-ideograph; text-indent: 1.0in; line-height: 150%;"><span style="font-size: 13.0pt; line-height: 150%; font-family: 'Tahoma','sans-serif';">1. The industry has installed entire machinery, but not yet commissioned and ready to operate. </span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal" style="text-align: justify; text-justify: inter-ideograph; text-indent: 1.0in; line-height: 150%;"><span style="font-size: 13.0pt; line-height: 150%; font-family: 'Tahoma','sans-serif';">2. The industry has installed cyclone separator as APCD with wood fired hot air generator having capacity 1 lac kacal and adequate stack height has been provided. The hot air generated from the boiler will be used for drying the hydrated ferrous sulphate in a vessel and product will be recovered through bags provided in the vessel. </span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal" style="text-align: justify; text-justify: inter-ideograph; text-indent: 1.0in; line-height: 150%;"><span style="font-size: 13.0pt; line-height: 150%; font-family: 'Tahoma','sans-serif';">3. No trade effluent will be generated from the industry. The domestic effluent generated from toilets will be discharged into PSIEC sewer. </span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal" style="text-align: justify; text-justify: inter-ideograph; text-indent: 1.0in; line-height: 150%;"><span style="font-size: 13.0pt; line-height: 150%; font-family: 'Tahoma','sans-serif';">4. The industry has installed 01 DG set of capacity 62.5 KVA with adequate stack and canopy in its premises.</span></p>
<p><span style="font-size: 13.0pt; line-height: 115%; font-family: 'Tahoma','sans-serif'; mso-fareast-font-family: 'Times New Roman'; mso-fareast-theme-font: minor-fareast; mso-ansi-language: EN-US; mso-fareast-language: EN-US; mso-bidi-language: PA;">In view of above, it is recommended that fresh consent to operate may be granted to the industry under the Water Act, 1974 & the Air Act, 1981 for operation of unit for manufacturing of Dried Ferrous Sulphate @ 900 MT/year by using Ferrous Sulphate Hepta Hydrate @ 1500 MT/year as raw material for a period upto 31.03.2023, subject to suitable conditions along with special condition that industry will get its stack emission sample analyzed from Board's lab within one month after commissioning of the industry.</span></p> |
