The registration details were checked and found correct. The documents uploaded by the industry were verified. </span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal" style="text-align: justify; line-height: 150%;"><span style="font-size: 11.0pt; mso-bidi-font-size: 10.0pt; line-height: 150%; font-family: 'Tahoma',sans-serif;"> The hotel was earlier granted consent to operate under Water (Prevention & Control of Pollution) Act 1974 Vide no. CTOW/Renewal/JAL/2017/5439483 dated 06.06.2017 and Air (Prevention and Control of Pollution) Act, 1981 Vide no. CTOA/Renewal/JAL/2017/5422671 dated 25.05.2017 valid upto 30.06.2022 respectively for discharge of domestic effluent @ 0.8 KLD into sewer after O&G trap.</span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal" style="text-align: justify; line-height: 150%;"><span style="font-size: 11.0pt; mso-bidi-font-size: 10.0pt; line-height: 150%; font-family: 'Tahoma',sans-serif;"> Now, the hotel has applied for renewal consent to operate under Water (Prevention & Control of Pollution) Act 1974 and Air (Prevention and Control of Pollution) Act, 1981 with discharge in to Sewer after O&G trap under green category i.e. 3052-Hotels (up to 20 rooms and without boilers) and having waste water generation < 10 KLD and no hazardous waste generation. </span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal" style="text-align: justify; line-height: 150%;"><span style="font-size: 11.0pt; mso-bidi-font-size: 10.0pt; line-height: 150%; font-family: 'Tahoma',sans-serif;"> The hotel has deposited Rs. 55,080/- Vide UTR/Reference No. AXSK222300013980 dated 18.08.2022 under Water Act, 1974 and Rs. 55,080/- Vide UTR/Reference No. AXSK222300013936 dated 18.08.2022 under Air Act, 1981, which are adequate upto 30.06.2027. </span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal" style="text-align: justify; line-height: 150%;"><span style="font-size: 11.0pt; mso-bidi-font-size: 10.0pt; line-height: 150%; font-family: 'Tahoma',sans-serif;"> As per office order issued by the Head Office, Patiala vide letter no. 59 dated 02.02.2016 and as per decision of officer meeting held at Head Office Patiala on 08.05.2018 that all the industries under orange and green category shall be processed on the basis of documents submitted by the industry without site verification.</span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal" style="text-align: justify; line-height: 150%;"><span style="font-size: 11.0pt; mso-bidi-font-size: 10.0pt; line-height: 150%; font-family: 'Tahoma',sans-serif;"> The industry has not been visited and on the basis of documents submitted by the industry along with application, it has been observed that the industry is a green category hotel and has 18 nos rooms. The domestic effluent is discharged into sewer after oil & grease trap. The industry has installed 2 nos. of D.G sets with capacity 320 KVA and 250 KVA, both are with canopies and stack of adequate heights. The industry has submitted compliance report to the consent conditions earlier granted to it. </span></p>
<p><span style="font-size: 11.0pt; mso-bidi-font-size: 10.0pt; font-family: 'Tahoma',sans-serif; mso-fareast-font-family: 'Times New Roman'; mso-ansi-language: EN-US; mso-fareast-language: EN-US; mso-bidi-language: AR-SA;"> Keeping in view of above, it is recommended that consent to operate under Water (Prevention & Control of Pollution) Act 1974 and Air (Prevention & Control of Pollution) Act 1981 may be granted upto 30.06.2027 with suitable conditions as per policy of the Board.
