<p style="text-align: justify;"> The industry was earlier engaged in washing and sale of empty chemical containers and the trade effluent was being discharged into MC sewer without any treatment. As such, EC for the previous violations be imposed upon the industry.</p>
<p style="text-align: justify;"> </p>
<p style="text-align: justify;"> In view of the above, it is recommended that:-</p>
<p style="text-align: justify;"> </p>
<p style="text-align: justify;"> 1. Environmental compensation of Rs. 1.0 Lac be imposed to the industry.</p>
<p style="text-align: justify;"> </p>
<p style="text-align: justify;"><!-- [if !supportLists]-->2. <!--[endif]-->Directions be issued to the PSPCL, authorities for restoration of the electric connection of the industry for six months, so that unit can do the proposed establishment.</p>
<p style="text-align: justify;"><!-- [if !supportLists]-->3. <!--[endif]-->Consent to Establish / NOC may be granted to the industry for one year for recycling/reprocessing of plastic waste @ 1000 Nos/day for discharge of trade effluent @ 1.8 KLD reuse after ETP and domestic effluent @ 0.3 KLD into public sewer with suitable conditions and special conditions that:</p>
<p style="text-align: justify;"><!-- [if !supportLists]-->a) <!--[endif]-->The industry shall commence its operation only after obtaining Consents to Operate under the Water (Prevention & Control of Pollution) Act, 1974 and the Air (Prevention & Control of Pollution) Act, 1981.</p>
<p style="text-align: justify;"><!-- [if !supportLists]-->b) <!--[endif]-->The industry shall comply with the SOP for such type of units.</p>
<p style="text-align: justify;"><!-- [if !supportLists]-->c) <!--[endif]-->The industry shall obtain the pass book from the Competent Authority of the Board before the commissioning of its unit.</p>
