<p class="MsoNormal" style="text-align: justify;"><span style="font-family: 'Tahoma','sans-serif';">Earlier, the industry was granted 'Consent to Operate' under Water Act, 1974 vide no. CTOW/Varied/LDH1/2022/18748616 dated 16.06.2022 valid up to 15.06.2023 & Air Act, 1981 vide no. CTOA/Renewal/LDH1/2017/5726034 dated 30.06.2017 valid up to 30.06.2022.</span></p>
<p class="TableParagraph" style="text-align: justify; margin: .3pt 0in .0001pt 0in;"><span style="font-family: 'Tahoma','sans-serif';"> Now the industry has applied consent to operate under Air (Prevention & Control of Pollution) Act, 1981. The industry has deposited Rs. 108000/- vide no. 217321169 dated 17.05.2022 under Air Act, 1981 which is adequate upto 16.05.2027.</span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal" style="text-align: justify;"><span style="font-family: 'Tahoma','sans-serif';"> To verify the facts the industry was visited by AEE of this office on 10.11.2022 & observed that:-</span></p>

Now, the industry started its dyeing process.</span></h6>
<h6 style="text-align: justify; text-indent: -22.75pt; mso-pagination: widow-orphan; mso-list: l0 level1 lfo1; tab-stops: 48.85pt; text-autospace: ideograph-numeric ideograph-other; margin: 0in 0in .0001pt 48.85pt;"><!-- [if !supportLists]--><span style="font-family: Tahoma, 'sans-serif'; color: windowtext;">2.<span style="font-variant-numeric: normal; font-variant-east-asian: normal; font-weight: normal; font-stretch: normal; font-size: 7pt; line-height: normal; font-family: 'Times New Roman';"> </span></span><!--[endif]--><span style="font-family: Tahoma, 'sans-serif'; color: windowtext;">The industry has installed one boiler of capacity 4 TPH with adequate stack and cyclone separator as APCD.</span></h6>

The results are awaited.</span></h6>

<p class="MsoNormal" style="text-align: justify;"><span style="font-family: 'Tahoma','sans-serif';"> </span><span style="font-family: 'Tahoma','sans-serif'; mso-bidi-language: TH;">In view of above, it is recommended that, 'Consent to Operate' under the Air (Prevention & Control of Pollution) Act, 1981 may be decided after receipt of analysis report from Zonal lab, Ludhiana. </span></p>
