The CTO under the Air Act, 1981 granted to the BKO was revoked vide no. 906 dated 15.01.20210.</span></p>

<p class="MsoListParagraphCxSpMiddle" style="margin-left: 1.0cm; mso-add-space: auto; text-align: justify;"><span lang="EN-US" style="font-size: 13.5pt; line-height: 107%; font-family: 'Calibri Light','sans-serif'; mso-ascii-theme-font: major-latin; mso-hansi-theme-font: major-latin; mso-bidi-font-family: 'Calibri Light'; mso-bidi-theme-font: major-latin; color: black; mso-themecolor: text1; background: white;">The Brick kiln has submitted completion certificate dt.07.12.2020 from CSIR-Central Building Research Institute, Roorkee to the effect that the kiln has constructed high draft brick kiln with Zigzag technology, rectangular in shape as per the CSIR-CBRI design.</span></p>
<p class="MsoListParagraphCxSpMiddle" style="margin-left: 1.0cm; mso-add-space: auto; text-align: justify;"><span lang="EN-US" style="font-size: 13.5pt; line-height: 107%; font-family: 'Calibri Light','sans-serif'; mso-ascii-theme-font: major-latin; mso-hansi-theme-font: major-latin; mso-bidi-font-family: 'Calibri Light'; mso-bidi-theme-font: major-latin; color: black; mso-themecolor: text1; background: white;">The kiln has deposited consent fees of Rs 18000/- through online vide R No. 668355308 dated 07.07.2022&Rs. 28300/- vide no. 668355308 dated 03.11.2022 &Rs. 31,900/- vide no. 321306655 dated 03.11.2022 &Rs. 18000/-vide no. 15488539 dated 07.07.2022 under Water Act, 1974</span><span lang="EN-US" style="font-size: 13.5pt; line-height: 107%; font-family: 'Calibri Light','sans-serif'; mso-ascii-theme-font: major-latin; mso-hansi-theme-font: major-latin; mso-bidi-font-family: 'Calibri Light'; mso-bidi-theme-font: major-latin; background: white;">andunder Air Act, 1981 including Penalty fees and NOC regularization fees. The fee deposited by the industry under the Water Act, 1974 and under the Air Act, 1981 is valid upto 30.09.2032 against the fixed asset of Rs. 62.90 lac as per the C.A. certificate.</span></p>

The kiln has converted its kiln to zig-zag technology as per design of CSIR- Central Building Research Institute, Roorkee. The CBRI, Roorkee has issued completion certificate dated 07.12.2020. </span></p>

The brick kiln uses crushed coal as a fuel in the kiln with small spoon and feeding practice as per the recommendations of CSIR-Central Building Research Institute, Roorkee has been adopted. Further, no un-authorized fuel was found within kiln periphery. </span></p>

The kiln has stabilized the periphery road / movement area. </span></p>

The kiln has provided adequate plantation all along its boundary. </span></p>

The industry is also complying with the provision of Water Act, 1974. </span></p>

This consent is granted subject to the orders passed by the Hon'ble High Court for the States of Punjab & Haryana/ Hon'ble National Green Tribunal or Other Judicial Authority in the case spending or being filed with regard to the operation of brick kilns in the State. </span></p>

This consent is granted subject to the performance evaluation of new technology adopted by the brick kilns. </span></p>
<p class="MsoListParagraphCxSpMiddle" style="margin-left: 64.35pt; mso-add-space: auto; text-align: justify;"><span lang="EN-US" style="font-size: 13.5pt; line-height: 107%; font-family: 'Calibri Light','sans-serif'; mso-ascii-theme-font: major-latin; mso-hansi-theme-font: major-latin; mso-bidi-font-family: 'Calibri Light'; mso-bidi-theme-font: major-latin; color: black; mso-themecolor: text1; background: white;">3. The BKO will obtain Environmental Clearance under EIA notification for mining of brick clay to be used as raw material for the manufacture of bricks and submit the same, within two months. </span></p>
<p class="MsoListParagraphCxSpMiddle" style="margin-left: 64.35pt; mso-add-space: auto; text-align: justify;"><span lang="EN-US" style="font-size: 13.5pt; line-height: 107%; font-family: 'Calibri Light','sans-serif'; mso-ascii-theme-font: major-latin; mso-hansi-theme-font: major-latin; mso-bidi-font-family: 'Calibri Light'; mso-bidi-theme-font: major-latin; color: black; mso-themecolor: text1; background: white;">4. The industry shall comply with code of practice for brick kiln and shall achieve the prescribed standard notified by MOEF&CC. </span></p>
<p class="MsoListParagraphCxSpMiddle" style="margin-left: 64.35pt; mso-add-space: auto; text-align: justify;"><span lang="EN-US" style="font-size: 13.5pt; line-height: 107%; font-family: 'Calibri Light','sans-serif'; mso-ascii-theme-font: major-latin; mso-hansi-theme-font: major-latin; mso-bidi-font-family: 'Calibri Light'; mso-bidi-theme-font: major-latin; color: black; mso-themecolor: text1; background: white;">5. The industry shall not generate/ discharge any trade effluent and shall discharge only Domestic Effluent onto land for plantation after passing through septic tank.</span></p>
