The above note/application has been perused and observed as under:- <p class="MsoListParagraphCxSpMiddle" style="mso-add-space: auto; text-align: justify; text-indent: -.25in; line-height: 150%; mso-list: l1 level1 lfo1; tab-stops: 82.2pt; background: white; margin: 0in 0in .0001pt 58.5pt;">1.    As per the conditions of the CLU granted by STP Patiala, it is clearly mentioned that the applicant shall ensure the minimum distance from the nearby residential area as prescribed by PPCB. In this case, general siting guidelines are applicable. However, no certificate from the revenue authority, such as DC/ADC/SDM submitted by the promoter. <p class="MsoListParagraphCxSpMiddle" style="mso-add-space: auto; text-align: justify; text-indent: -.25in; line-height: 150%; mso-list: l1 level1 lfo1; tab-stops: 82.2pt; background: white; margin: 0in 0in .0001pt 58.5pt;">2.    The promoter has not submitted any proposal in which it has mentioned the type of industries to be established in the proposed industrial park, so as the applicability of EIA notification may be adjudged. <p class="MsoListParagraphCxSpMiddle" style="mso-add-space: auto; text-align: justify; text-indent: -.25in; line-height: 150%; mso-list: l1 level1 lfo1; tab-stops: 82.2pt; background: white; margin: 0in 0in .0001pt 58.5pt;">3.    The promoter has not submitted any proposal for effluent to be generated from the upcoming industrial units in the park and its disposal arrangements. <p class="MsoListParagraphCxSpMiddle" style="mso-add-space: auto; text-align: justify; text-indent: -.25in; line-height: 150%; mso-list: l1 level1 lfo1; tab-stops: 82.2pt; background: white; margin: 0in 0in .0001pt 58.5pt;">4.    As per the layout plan submitted by the project promoter, no green area has been earmarked for disposal of the treated wastewater. <p class="MsoListParagraphCxSpMiddle" style="mso-add-space: auto; text-align: justify; text-indent: -.25in; line-height: 150%; mso-list: l1 level1 lfo1; tab-stops: 82.2pt; background: white; margin: 0in 0in .0001pt 58.5pt;">5.    As per the report of visiting officer, there is one school namely M/s Edumont World School, Nabha of having 800 students and staff members falling adjacent to the proposed site.  The PP has submitted an undertaking that it shall left a<span style="font-variant-ligatures: normal; font-variant-caps: normal; orphans: 2; widows: 2; -webkit-text-stroke-width: 0px; text-decoration-thickness: initial; text-decoration-style: initial; text-decoration-color: initial; word-spacing: 0px;">  <span style="font-variant-ligatures: normal; font-variant-caps: normal; orphans: 2; widows: 2; -webkit-text-stroke-width: 0px; text-decoration-thickness: initial; text-decoration-style: initial; text-decoration-color: initial; float: none; word-spacing: 0px;">green buffer Zone towards the said premises. However,  the promoter is required to submit revised layout plan along with the application clearly indicating the green buffer towards the school. Due to the above observations, return the application to the promoter and guide him regarding the compliances of the same.       Further, you are advised to process such cases carefully as following discrepancies were observed:- <p class="MsoListParagraphCxSpMiddle" style="mso-add-space: auto; text-align: justify; text-indent: -.25in; line-height: 150%; mso-list: l0 level1 lfo2; tab-stops: 82.2pt; background: white; margin: 0in 0in .0001pt .75in;">1.    It is mentioned in the visit note at point no. 3 that CLU for developing a Residential Plotted Colony for area 17.097 Acres. However, the promoter has proposed industrial park in the said land. <p class="MsoListParagraphCxSpMiddle" style="mso-add-space: auto; text-align: justify; text-indent: -.25in; line-height: 150%; mso-list: l0 level1 lfo2; tab-stops: 82.2pt; background: white; margin: 0in 0in .0001pt .75in;">2.    No comment on the suitability of the site is given in the note despite of case of fresh NOC/ Consent to establish. <p class="MsoListParagraphCxSpMiddle" style="mso-add-space: auto; text-align: justify; text-indent: -.25in; line-height: 150%; mso-list: l0 level1 lfo2; tab-stops: 82.2pt; background: white; margin: 0in 0in .0001pt .75in;">3.     It is mentioned in the visit note at point no. 4 that “the PP has submitted an undertaking that it shall left a  green buffer Zone of  meter”. Neither how much area to be given for green buffer has been mentioned nor marked the same in the layout plan. <p class="MsoListParagraphCxSpMiddle" style="mso-add-space: auto; text-align: justify; text-indent: -.25in; line-height: 150%; mso-list: l0 level1 lfo2; tab-stops: 82.2pt; background: white; margin: 0in 0in .0001pt .75in;">4.    It is mentioned in the visit note at point no. 6 that “The project proponent has not filled any source of air pollution in the application form” which is having no relevance. Either report any air pollution source (if any) in the vicinity of the proposed project or asked the industry to submit any document in this regard. <p class="MsoListParagraphCxSpMiddle" style="mso-add-space: auto; text-align: justify; text-indent: -.25in; line-height: 150%; mso-list: l0 level1 lfo2; tab-stops: 82.2pt; background: white; margin: 0in 0in .0001pt .75in;">5.    It is mentioned in the visit note at point no. 7 that the project is not covered under EIA notification despite that the promoter has not given any details of type of industries to be established in the proposed project. <p class="MsoListParagraphCxSpLast" style="mso-add-space: auto; text-align: justify; text-indent: -.25in; line-height: 150%; mso-list: l0 level1 lfo2; tab-stops: 82.2pt; background: white; margin: 0in 0in .0001pt .75in;">6.    Being bulk generator nothing has been mentioned in the note regarding proposal of disposal of its municipal solid waste.
