Now, the industry has applied for consent to operate for manufacturing of Rice Bran Crude Oil @ 30 Ton/day, Edible Oil @ 200 Ton/day and De-oiled Cake @ 170 Ton/day. This shows that the industry has made expansion in its solvent extraction unit also, without obtaining NOC from the Board.</span></p>

It is required to clarify scale of industry.</span></p>

The refinery unit is yet not made in operational condition. Hence, the industry will manufacture only edible crude oil from the rice brain & presently further refining of edible crude oil will not done at this location. But, the representative of the industry has made verbal representation before the Senior Environmental Engineer on 14.11.2022 that the industry has applied for operation of solvent extraction unit as well as refinery unit. Hence, the Regional office is required to relook into the matter.</span></p>
