Ltd., Focal Point Ludhiana (CETP) for lifting of its trade effluent @ 11000 Ltr/month for lifting its effluent generated from the electroplating & auto black process. The industry has also pickling process (ZINDI) based on H2SO4. The industry has agreement with M/s JBR Technologies Pvt. Ltd., Kohara, Ludhiana (Re-processor) for lifting its trade effluent @ 1500 Ltr/month. Thereafter, vide note dated 28.10.2022, it has been informed that the industry has made separate agreements with JBR kohara and JBR focal point for disposal of spent sulfuric and HCL. From that, it is not clear whether the industry is got lifting its electroplating effluent or spent acid of pickling using HCl to CETP operator at Focal Point. </span></p>
<p class="MsoListParagraphCxSpMiddle" style="mso-add-space: auto; text-align: justify; text-indent: -18.0pt; mso-list: l0 level1 lfo1; margin: 0cm 0cm .0001pt 49.65pt;"><!-- [if !supportLists]--><span style="font-family: Arial, 'sans-serif';">2.<span style="font-variant-numeric: normal; font-variant-east-asian: normal; font-stretch: normal; font-size: 7pt; line-height: normal; font-family: 'Times New Roman';"> </span></span><!--[endif]--><span style="font-family: 'Arial','sans-serif';">The Regional office has not commented upon quantity of fresh water / acid consumption in electroplating / pickling process and quantity of effluent lifted to CETP operator / re-processor during last few months.</span></p>
<p class="MsoListParagraphCxSpMiddle" style="mso-add-space: auto; text-align: justify; text-indent: -18.0pt; mso-list: l0 level1 lfo1; margin: 0cm 0cm .0001pt 49.65pt;"><!-- [if !supportLists]--><span style="font-family: Arial, 'sans-serif';">3.<span style="font-variant-numeric: normal; font-variant-east-asian: normal; font-stretch: normal; font-size: 7pt; line-height: normal; font-family: 'Times New Roman';"> </span></span><!--[endif]--><span style="font-family: 'Arial','sans-serif';">The Regional office has not commented upon following additional conditions added in the consent vide this office letter no. 4967-68 dated 10.11.2021:-</span></p>
<p class="MsoListParagraphCxSpMiddle" style="mso-add-space: auto; text-align: justify; text-indent: -18.0pt; mso-list: l1 level1 lfo2; margin: 0cm 0cm .0001pt 49.65pt;"><!-- [if !supportLists]--><span style="font-family: Arial, 'sans-serif';">a)<span style="font-variant-numeric: normal; font-variant-east-asian: normal; font-stretch: normal; font-size: 7pt; line-height: normal; font-family: 'Times New Roman';"> </span></span><!--[endif]--><span style="font-family: 'Arial','sans-serif';">The industry will get lifted its spent acid (H2SO4) to the authorized re-processor having valid authorization of the Board and will submit the copy of agreement made with the authorized re-processor to the Board within 15 days and will also submit the copy of authorization certificate issued to the re-processor.</span></p>
