CTOW/Renewal/HSP/2018/7116421 dated 05.04.2018 valid upto 30.06.2021 for manufacturing of Mill Board @ 4.5 TPD, using Parali, Jute Bags & Road Sleeb Radi @ 6 T/day as raw material along with trade effluent @ Nil and domestic effluent @ 0.75 KLD to be discharged onto land for plantation after passing through septic tank, subject to the conditions mentioned therein.</span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal" style="margin-bottom: .0001pt; text-align: justify; line-height: normal; background: white;"><span style="font-family: 'Tahoma','sans-serif'; color: black; mso-themecolor: text1; background: white;"><span style="mso-tab-count: 1;"> </span>After that, the industry was found violating the provisions of Water (Prevention & Control of Pollution) Act, 1974 and Hazardous<span style="mso-spacerun: yes;"> </span>& Other Wastes (Management & Transboundary Movement) Rules, 2016, accordingly, the show cause notice for violations under the provisions of Water (Prevention & Control of Pollution) Act, 1974 <span style="mso-spacerun: yes;"> </span>was issued to industry with hearing before SEE, Jalandhar on 29/10/2021& it was decided that:-</span></p>

The industry has deposited Rs.13200/- vide UTR No. SDL114705445 dated 12.10.2022 under Water (Prevention & Control of Pollution) Act, 1974. The fee deposited by the industry is adequate upto 30.06.2026. </span></p>

<p class="MsoNormal" style="margin-bottom: .0001pt; text-align: justify; text-indent: 40.5pt; line-height: normal;"><span lang="EN-IN" style="font-family: 'Tahoma','sans-serif'; color: black; mso-themecolor: text1; mso-ansi-language: EN-IN;">Further, it is submitted that the industry has submitted undertaking vide letter dated 09.11.2022 to the effect that the industry will not use waste sludge from paper mill as raw material and will only use waste paper, waste jute bags, paddy straw and saw dust as raw material in the industry. Keeping in view the undertaking submitted by the industry, the industry will not use any hazardous waste from the paper mill, therefore, it does not require Actual User Certificate and the SOP for the utilization of waste sludge is not applicable. </span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal" style="margin-bottom: .0001pt; text-align: justify; text-indent: .5in; line-height: normal;"><span lang="EN-IN" style="font-family: 'Tahoma','sans-serif'; color: black; mso-themecolor: text1; mso-ansi-language: EN-IN;">In view of above, if approved it may be recommended that :</span></p>
