<p style="text-align: justify;">It is submitted that the application is pending from 30.09.2022, the industry was found violating during visit and was issued SCN to reply within 3 days. The industry has requested that, "requested you to give us time to meet and resolve the required issues mention in show cause notice". However, no compliance to the SCN has been submitted by the industry. </p>
<p style="text-align: justify;">In view of above, it is recommended that consent to operate under the Water (Prevention & Control of Pollution) Act, 1974 and Air (Prevention & Control of Pollution) Act, 1981 may be refused. </p>
<p style="text-align: justify;">And fresh SCN be issued to the industry for violation under Water Act, 1974 with an opportunity of personal hearing before SEE, ZO-2, Ludhiana, please.</p>
