The Project Proponent was not aware about the establishment of CETP Chanalon and hence proposed to setup their own ETP which was considered. Since CETP Chanalon is now commissioned and working therefore it is recommended that Consent to Establish (NOC) under the Water (Prevention & Control of Pollution) Act, 1974 and under the Air (Prevention & Control of Pollution) Act, 1981 be granted to the project proponent for one year with the suitable conditions and special conditions that the industry shall install its unit in the land area for which it has obtained CLU from the Office of Additional Deputy Commissioner, Urban Development-cum-Competent Authority Local Government, Fatehgarh Sahib and shall make an agreement with CETP Chanalon for lifting its trade effluent</span></p> |
