<p style="text-align: justify;">The agenda note and report / recommendations of AEE/EE, RO, may kindly be perused.</p>
<p style="text-align: justify;">The hotel has applied for fresh ‘Consent to Operate’ under the Water (Prevention & Control of Pollution) Act, 1974 and under the Air (Prevention & Control of Pollution) Act, 1981. The hotel has deposited consents fee, which are valid upto 30.06.2026 under the both acts.</p>
<p style="text-align: justify;">The hotel has submitted copy of electricity bill as proof regarding date of commissioning and as per this proof, the hotel has commissioned in December, 2021. The hotel has submitted NOC issued by the Assistant Town Planner, Zone – D, Municipal Corporation, Ludhiana vide no. 4696/ATP-D dated 18.12.2019 stating that the MCL has no objection regarding establishment of the hotel at the site. As per this NOC, the site of the hotel falls in Khasra no: 31// 13-18-23-14-7 in the revenue estate of village Fatehpur Awana, Tehsil Ludhiana West, District Ludhiana. The hotel has submitted approved building plan (copy attached).</p>
<p style="text-align: justify;">The hotel was visited by the officer of RO on 10.11.2022 and it was observed as under:</p>
<p style="text-align: justify;"><!-- [if !supportLists]-->1. <!--[endif]-->The hotel has 26 nos. rooms, 01 no. restaurant cum bar and 01 no. banquette hall in the premises.</p>
<p style="text-align: justify;"><!-- [if !supportLists]-->2. <!--[endif]-->The hotel has 01 kitchen section and has provided gas fired bhathies and tandoors. Hoods are provided on all the mouth of bhathies and further connected with the common duct leading to top of roof of the building.</p>
<p style="text-align: justify;"><!-- [if !supportLists]-->3. <!--[endif]-->The hotel has provided oil and grease trap for treatment of effluent generated from the kitchen section and has provided septic tanks for treatment of domestic effluent. Treated effluent is discharged into the sewer line leading to STP Balloke.</p>
<p style="text-align: justify;"><!-- [if !supportLists]-->4. <!--[endif]-->The hotel has not installed Mechanical Bio-composter for solid waste. The representative of the hotel informed that they will install the same within 03 months.</p>
<p style="text-align: justify;"><!-- [if !supportLists]-->5. <!--[endif]-->The project proponent has installed 01 no. DG set of capacity 165 KVA equipped with canopy and adequate stack height.</p>
<p style="text-align: justify;">Keeping in view of the above, it is recommended that fresh ‘Consent to Operate’ under the Water (Prevention & Control of Pollution) Act, 1974 and the Air (Prevention & Control of Pollution) Act, 1981 may be granted to the hotel for period upto 30.06.2026 subject to suitable conditions along with special condition that:</p>
<p style="text-align: justify;"><!-- [if !supportLists]-->1. <!--[endif]-->The hotel shall get its effluent samples analyzed from Board's lab within one month.</p>
<p style="text-align: justify;"><!-- [if !supportLists]-->2. <!--[endif]-->The hotel shall install Mechanical Bio-composter for processing of solid waste within 03 month.</p>
