CTOW/Renewal/LDH3/2021/16702601 dated 01.10.2021 and under Air Act, 1981 vide no. CTOA/Fresh/LDH3/2020/12062913 dated 09.04.2020 for the name and style of M/s ZIP (INDIA) for the production of finishing zipper @ 120 MT/Year and Zipper Roll @ 240 MT/Year with disposal of trade effluent @ 40.0 KLD into 15 MLD CETP and domestic effluent @ 1.5 KLD into 15 MLD CETP, which were expired on 30.09.2022 and valid upto 30.06.2024 respectively.</span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal" style="text-align: justify; text-indent: 1.5in; line-height: 150%;"><span style="font-size: 12.0pt; line-height: 150%; font-family: 'Tahoma','sans-serif';">Now, the industry has applied for renewal consent to operate under Water Act, 1974 and Air Act, 1981 for the change of name i.e. M/s Regal Enterprises (Previously known as M/s ZIP (INDIA)), B-32, Mahavir Enclave, Akash Nagar, Village Bhoura, Ludhiana <span style="mso-spacerun: yes;"> </span>for the production of Finishing Zipper @ 120 MT/Year and Zipper Roll @240 MT/Year with disposal of trade effluent @ 48.3 KLD into 15 MLD CETP for Bahadurke Road Dyeing cluster and domestic effluent @ 1.5 KLD into 15 MLD CETP </span><span style="font-size: 12.0pt; line-height: 150%; font-family: 'Tahoma','sans-serif'; mso-bidi-language: PA;">for Bahadurke Road Dyeing cluster</span><span style="font-size: 12.0pt; line-height: 150%; font-family: 'Tahoma','sans-serif';">. The industry had already deposited Rs. 18,000/- vide UTR no. N016201038541016 dated 16.01.2020 under Water (Prevention & Control of Pollution) Act 1974 and Rs. 18,000/- vide UTR no.N016201038541209 dated 16.01.2020 under Air (Prevention & Control of Pollution) Act, 1981, Rs. 34,340/- vide UTR no. N307222189957523 dated 03.11.2022 as Rs. 19,440/- under Water Act, 1974, Rs. 14,400/- as NOC regularization & Rs. 500/- as application form fee and Rs. 19,440/- vide UTR no. N307222189967785 dated 03.11.2022 under Air Act, 1981, which are adequate upto 31.12.2025 under both acts.</span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal" style="text-align: justify;"><span style="font-size: 12.0pt; line-height: 115%; font-family: 'Tahoma','sans-serif';">The industry was visited by AEE of this office on 15.11.2022 and observed as under:-</span></p>

<p class="MsoListParagraphCxSpMiddle" style="text-align: justify; text-indent: -.25in; mso-list: l1 level1 lfo1;"><!-- [if !supportLists]--><span style="font-size: 12.0pt; line-height: 115%; font-family: 'Tahoma','sans-serif'; mso-fareast-font-family: Tahoma;"><span style="mso-list: Ignore;">2.<span style="font: 7.0pt 'Times New Roman';"> </span></span></span><!--[endif]--><span style="font-size: 12.0pt; line-height: 115%; font-family: 'Tahoma','sans-serif'; mso-bidi-language: PA;">The industry has installed 3 vertical tape dyeing machine of capacity 40 kg each, o1 granual washing machine and injection moulding machines within its premises.</span></p>
<p class="MsoListParagraphCxSpMiddle" style="text-align: justify; text-indent: -.25in; mso-list: l1 level1 lfo1;"><!-- [if !supportLists]--><span style="font-size: 12.0pt; line-height: 115%; font-family: 'Tahoma','sans-serif'; mso-fareast-font-family: Tahoma;"><span style="mso-list: Ignore;">3.<span style="font: 7.0pt 'Times New Roman';"> </span></span></span><!--[endif]--><span style="font-size: 12.0pt; line-height: 115%; font-family: 'Tahoma','sans-serif'; mso-bidi-language: PA;">The entire trade effluent and domestic effluent was being discharged into dedicated sewer system leading to CETP 15 MLD.</span></p>
<p class="MsoListParagraphCxSpMiddle" style="text-align: justify; text-indent: -.25in; mso-list: l1 level1 lfo1;"><!-- [if !supportLists]--><span style="font-size: 12.0pt; line-height: 115%; font-family: 'Tahoma','sans-serif'; mso-fareast-font-family: Tahoma;"><span style="mso-list: Ignore;">4.<span style="font: 7.0pt 'Times New Roman';"> </span></span></span><!--[endif]--><span style="font-size: 12.0pt; line-height: 115%; font-family: 'Tahoma','sans-serif'; mso-bidi-language: PA;">The industry had already obtained shares @ 50KLD from the SPV to discharge its effluent into the conveyance system of CETP-15MLD.</span></p>
<p class="MsoListParagraphCxSpMiddle" style="text-align: justify; text-indent: -.25in; mso-list: l1 level1 lfo1;"><!-- [if !supportLists]--><span style="font-size: 12.0pt; line-height: 115%; font-family: 'Tahoma','sans-serif'; mso-fareast-font-family: Tahoma;"><span style="mso-list: Ignore;">5.<span style="font: 7.0pt 'Times New Roman';"> </span></span></span><!--[endif]--><span style="font-size: 12.0pt; line-height: 115%; font-family: 'Tahoma','sans-serif'; mso-bidi-language: PA;">The industry has installed 01 DG of capacity 160 KVA with canopy inside the premises.</span></p>
<p class="MsoListParagraphCxSpMiddle" style="text-align: justify; text-indent: -.25in; mso-list: l1 level1 lfo1;"><!-- [if !supportLists]--><span style="font-size: 12.0pt; line-height: 115%; font-family: 'Tahoma','sans-serif'; mso-fareast-font-family: Tahoma;"><span style="mso-list: Ignore;">6.<span style="font: 7.0pt 'Times New Roman';"> </span></span></span><!--[endif]--><span style="font-size: 12.0pt; line-height: 115%; font-family: 'Tahoma','sans-serif'; mso-bidi-language: PA;">The industry has not installed any boiler inside the premises.</span></p>
<p class="MsoListParagraphCxSpMiddle" style="text-align: justify; text-indent: -.25in; mso-list: l1 level1 lfo1;"><!-- [if !supportLists]--><span style="font-size: 12.0pt; line-height: 115%; font-family: 'Tahoma','sans-serif'; mso-fareast-font-family: Tahoma;"><span style="mso-list: Ignore;">7.<span style="font: 7.0pt 'Times New Roman';"> </span></span></span><!--[endif]--><span style="font-size: 12.0pt; line-height: 115%; font-family: 'Tahoma','sans-serif'; mso-bidi-language: PA;">The industry has installed EMF at the final outlet leading to the dedicated conveyance system of the CETP-15 MLD and the same was operational.</span></p>
<p class="MsoListParagraphCxSpMiddle" style="text-align: justify; text-indent: -.25in; mso-list: l1 level1 lfo1;"><!-- [if !supportLists]--><span style="font-size: 12.0pt; line-height: 115%; font-family: 'Tahoma','sans-serif'; mso-fareast-font-family: Tahoma;"><span style="mso-list: Ignore;">8.<span style="font: 7.0pt 'Times New Roman';"> </span></span></span><!--[endif]--><span style="font-size: 12.0pt; line-height: 115%; font-family: 'Tahoma','sans-serif'; mso-bidi-language: PA;">The industry is complying with the provisions of Air (Prevention & Control of Pollution) Act, 1981 and Water (Prevention & Control of Pollution) Act, 1974.</span></p>
<p class="MsoListParagraphCxSpMiddle" style="text-align: justify;"><span style="font-size: 12.0pt; line-height: 115%; font-family: 'Tahoma','sans-serif';"> </span></p>
<p class="MsoListParagraphCxSpMiddle" style="margin-left: 0in; mso-add-space: auto; text-align: justify;"><span style="font-size: 12.0pt; line-height: 115%; font-family: 'Tahoma','sans-serif'; background: white;"><span style="mso-spacerun: yes;"> </span>It is mentioned here that the CETP 15 MLD is being regularly monitored by this office and it was observed that the CETP is not achieving the inlet designed parameters as per the DPR as well as the stringent discharge parameters at the final outlet.</span></p>
<p class="MsoListParagraphCxSpMiddle" style="margin-left: 0in; mso-add-space: auto; text-align: justify;"><span style="font-size: 12.0pt; line-height: 115%; font-family: 'Tahoma','sans-serif';"> In view of above, it is recommended that v</span><span style="text-indent: -0.25in; font-size: 12pt; line-height: 115%; font-family: Tahoma, 'sans-serif';">aried consent to operate for the change of name i.e. M/s Regal Enterprises (Formerly known as M/s ZIP (INDIA)), B-32, Mahavir Enclave, Akash Nagar, Village Bhoura, Ludhiana </span><span style="text-indent: -0.25in; font-size: 12pt; line-height: 115%; font-family: Tahoma, 'sans-serif';">under Air (Prevention & Control of Pollution) Act, 1981 may be granted to the industry upto 30.06.2025 with usual conditions.</span></p> |
